Thread: My Vasarian Brandy Factory run : +364 for 45 mins, 18 stack

Greed goes both ways. What can you do with the 4k 2 hour buff? How much can you make with that kind of enhancement. What kind of loot can you earn while buffed up. How many millions does it bring in. 4k for a 2 hour buff is very very reasonable. BTW the buff is better than the old stuff. That you get for free, so yeah, the customer makes out great on this as does the chef. I guess you are the one that only wants the full benefit while chefs get stuck with 3 times the work.
I am sure you will find some cheap stuff from someone that doesn't know any better. Customer greed leads them to ripcrafters off all the time.
OK Meparch, we'll see how this plays out. Maybe you're right. I think there is going to be a rush on this stuff by the big spenders and then it will quite down. Then prices come down. If you can continue to get 300k, then more power to you.
Sorry I came on so strong.

Kansalis could you please post the coords of your vendor?![]()
My bartender is in the ShadowStone Cantina on Dantooine. There are only singles on it for now as most of my production time is taken on the pre-orders I've received (over 40 crates last time I checked
)

Kansalis your vendor is empty...are you restocking it by any chance?
Oops, sorry about that... I'll be logging in sometime in the next hour to restock.
This probably isn't the best place to be discussing this though ![]()

GREED: If you think that the prices listed here are greedy I'm asking you this. Have you ever made Vasarian Brandy? Have you ever factory run anything for that matter? Always, whether I'm selling resources or selling these new products, someone throws the "It only cost you 0.2 per to mine it." You know what I think that is abull$hit formula. Whoever did the math on what it cost someone to mine per unit is missing a BIG part of the whole process. Let's say that it's accurate. Fine it cost me 0.2 per to mine it out of my harvestor.
However what if it's not on a 100% source???
What if the resource is on X planet that cost me 3k credits everytime I have to go check the machine???
How about the fact that it may take me a couple of HOURS real time, to pay maintenance check machines and empty harvestor hoppers?!?!?!
So while you are having fun playing run shoot'em with your elite combat class toon. Somewhere a crafter is spendingtedious HOURS, doing unsocial work so that you can be more UBER.
You get what you pay for!
Spare me. I'm a doctor. I know about crafting, resources, overhead, sub-components, blah, blah. Good buff packs cost a fortune to make and take tons of time to craft. Good avian meat alone goes for 80-100 cpu. Other resouces cost a forune too if you want to make a ggod buff pack and not sell crap.
When I sold buffs, I don't anymore, I charged a resonable 6k for my buffs. That gave me a decent profit considering my costs (including shuttle fares) and tons of time running around finding good resources orfinding rangers to farm for me. Many doctors still charge 6k, though I have seen a few charge up to 10k. That's rare.
I sick of this topic. All I'll say now is charge and get the 300k or more per crate. Players will run to become chefs/bio-engineers in droves when they see your profits. Then suddenly, you will be selling for, if you are lucky, 75-100k a crate (an even I'll say that's underpriced), since the market will be satutrated.
Make your killing while you can, because it isn't going to last.

Sounds like someone just cant afford the top end stuff, and is pissed about it...
I can easily afford your prices. I'm worth 50+ million and I'm not bragging because I know there are many more people with more than I have.
This new food publish is getting out of hand. There is someone starting a thread on food price fixing on a certain server. The top price of 300k jumped to 350k in less than 12 hours on this form. What will it be tomorrow and next week?
Sure, the "cost is no object" buyer will love you. The lower level players with 150k in the bank are going to hate you.Charge what you will, it is your choice. We'll see where this leads.
Anyway, enough of this. I'm sure this forum will be happy to be rid of me.

I just posted this on the Eclipse forum to get some feedback on pricing from the consumers :
I'm starting a factory run of Vasarian Brandy tomorrow with the following stats :
+364 Mind, Focus & Willpower
45 minutes duration (exactly)
49% filling, so you can drink 2 at a time
18 per stack
The current digestion time is 45 minutes, so you can keep a +728 buff to all mind stats with no downtime (maybe a little due to timings, but not a lot). This doesn't touch your food bar at all, so you will be free to further boost mind with something like Vagnerain Canape, or use a different skill or stat buff altogether.
Bearing in mind I have used very high quality materials, a medium BE food additive, acask & a total of 6 factory runs to make them..... What would you consumers pay for something with these stats?
As this stuff is obviously very new, I have no idea what to set the price at.
I thought I'd also come to the Chef community to ask for your opinions too
yah just to verify i made a similar stat brandy just now....and politely informed my guild that they would be sucking **edit** for crack soon when i start mass producing this stuff.
i am gonna be so friggin rich
