so is there no point in making +95 thak?

not necessarily true. No one really knows what the numerical cap is for KD defense.

Thak is very nice to have in pvp but people have gotten wise to it quickly. All it takes is a posture changeonce the target is dizzy and you go flat on your back all the same.So it's effectiveness is pretty limited as any good pvp'er knows this full well.

Now if we had a drink that gave us +100 defence to dizzy that would be worth its weight in gold. I personally dispise the KD/Dizzy combo, it's cheap, skill-less and shouldn't be part of combat.

Careful on that knockdown topping at 90. If you read the pistoleer FAQ you will see that the KDdefense bonus pistoleers get works great againts a CDEF carbine, but do nothing when hit by a laser carbine. There is a modifier to knockdown as well as a modifier to not be knocked down. The lowest the 'to knock down' can go is 10%, but that doesn't mean 95% thakitillo is a waste. There is clearly a modifier to improve KD chance and you want to knock down that modifier a bit, excuse the pun.

My Jedi has been eating my 100 / 101 (IF I use a 115 enhancer I get 101) Def vs Knockdown.

Fighting Enraged bull rancors..which knockdown dizzy ALOT...

I would fight them for 20 min and get knockdown once. I get dizzy alot...which means they are trying to knock me down... Their knockdown / dizzy is one move usually.

Anyway it works great.

dodge food and knockdown food do not stack with the mod, they are a different layer givin u a % chance of avoiding a knockdown or dodge,so anything ove 90 is irrelevent.

i currently am workin of a 90% 33 fill....now thats some sweet ass thak

I think you misunderstood my post.

I said it has nothing to do with greed (anyone that is a chef for the cred is in the wrong profession). The point of selling higher would be for the betterment of the chef community as a whole. What I mean by that is by undercutting everyone you are making it harder for new people who really want to be chef (for the love of the profession) to get into the profession. Not to mention you make all the other chefs on your server look like price gougers (Sp?). Both of which in the long run are bad for the chef community as a whole.

If you are going to sell at that price you might as well sell wholesale to someone so they can mark it up, since that is what is probably happening anyway. If you sold wholesale at least you could control who makes money off of you and your BE friends hard work. However it is your product and you can sell it for any price you see fit. I just remember what happened to archs and would hate for this profession to end up like that one.

I disagree, prices are totally irrelevant in this game. Regardless of what I sell product for, it will have little to no impact on any other chef, our goods are consumed far to quickly, and there are not enough chefs to meet the demand. Thanks for your concern however.

I agree with saitek 100% on this one. Why? Because I have seen the effect of people doing this first hand, and it does hurt the other Chefs, and it hurts the other Chefs long after the person pulling this type of stunt leaves the profession. Thats why on Bria there are Chefs selling food crates for less then others can buy the additives alone for.

Regardless of the price you pay for any resouce, or component, they have a value. The value is not always equal to what you pay for it. If you are going to take part in the economy, you should charge based on the value of the resources you put in to something. Some people could care less, and do whatever is best for them.
