Just a friendly reminder that everything that goes onto TC does not make it llive.

TH already stated that they're looking into changing the values.

I doubt that the numbers that were on TC are going live. And they're not going until after Pub 10 anyway.

So I personally wouldn't start assuming the worst.

Wondering where you saw this change wasn't going in with the rest of pub 10?

Im currently running 7 vendors with 100-150 foods on each. One 'loot' vendor with 300 some items. So roughly 1000 items spanned across 8 vendors.

1)1 Vendor, 500 items

Planning on a second site within 2 weeks without dropping stock in the first.

2) 3000 Merchant, was going to master and drop

3) 70-120 sells a week, depends on if a big spender is restocking his inventory.

  1. How many food items do you stock at each shop location. If you have multiple vendors at a location, give the total number of items along with number of vendors. Try to give a fairly accurate estimate, within 10 or so.

  2. What Merchant skills do you currently have?

    • Note: while it isn't included in the patch notes, and I haven't seen a dev post about it, I am assuming that pub 10 will also include the check for whether or not you have the skills to support the number of vendors you have. Give the management skill you would need to support the number of vendors (or planned vendors) post-publish.

  3. (optional) How often do you restock and/or how many items do you sell off your vendors in a given week?

1. One shop location, 3 vendors (stat buffs, combat buffs, everything else). Total varies but I always have at least 1200 items for sale at one time (550+ stat buffs, 250+combat buffs, 400+ noncombat foods). I carry 30 different foods in singles, fives, and crates. I need a large stock of the most popular foods, as it takes several days to make a full factory run andthusI can't react quickly if there's a run on the vendor.

2. Master merchant. My three other vendors are working for other crafters. But even if I were to take those vendors back for myself (a messy proposition), I can't keep my shop stocked with only 660 slots to work with.

3. I restock as fast as my 8factories can crank out the crates, usually at least twice a day. I sell about 300 items a week.

1. Number of items:
* Location 1: 4 vendors (1-Loot with 38 items on it, 1-Resource with 65 stacks on it, 1-Special Orders with 3 items on it, 1-Food Drinks with 111 itmes on it)
* Location 2: 1 vendor, 150 items
2. Merchant 0-4-4-0 (was master last night, just started dropping to merchant to pick up some other skills)
3. I put new stock up at least twice a week

I really hope this does not come to pass. I've worked extremely hard building my business as I'm sure many of you have, and this is just plain unacceptable. I have two Medium houses I use for storage, and have a vendor in one for extra storage cause there simply is not room enough for everthing (i literally have over 1000 crates of different compenets). If they made Backpacks where they only counted as one item when you drop it in your house, that may help balance this issue. For me, I'm just waiting for WoW, I've just had enough of the poor vision from SOE.

1)1 location anymore, I carry 5 vendors, 3 stocked with my chef/artisan stuff. 2 vendors dedicated to meds from my alt. This is an accuriate listing up to when I logged off earlier

Vendor 1, chef's food. 149 items, 89 full crates, 60 stacks of single charges, and smaller crate sizes.

Vendor 2: artisan tools and powerup's, 145 crates of powerups, 43 crafting tools.

Vendor 3: speeder's: 21 speeders

Vendor 4: Doctors items: 12 full crates of stim packs, 146 items in single charges and smaller crates.

Vendor 5: Combat med's: 108 items. (forget the crate/single charge breakdown)

2) Master merchant:

3) I restock items every other day, due to vendor poachers who buy out my entire stock of a particular item they like. I sell somewhere in the area of 700 items a week, most of that is single charges of the chef's/doc's products... I generally sell around 250-300 full crates a week.

If you had asked me three months ago, my answers would be radically different. I used to be a mega-seller/hardcore player but had to take two months leave from the game, and it seemed like most of my customer base quit the game completely while I was gone The loss in server population has been drastic IMO.

I no longer wanted to be McDonalds anyway though, soI streamlined things quite a bit so I don't have to cook as often.

1) I now only have 1 vendor and it currently has 230 items on it.

2) I just have Artisan Business 3 so I can have that one vendor.

3)I am only selling around 10-15 crates a week. Before the break, I was selling 75-85 crates easily.

I hope you don't mind if I adda 4th question to the poll:

4) How many slots would you be happy with? I'd say that 300 would fit my needs nicely. Even 200 would not put toooo much of a strain on me.

(Note: I'm supplying this information for our Master Chef, who doesn't frequent these boards but instead relies on me to tell him anything he needs to be aware of. I just tell him what to make more of.)

1. How many food items do you stock at each shop location. If you have multiple vendors at a location, give the total number of items along with number of vendors. Try to give a fairly accurate estimate, within 10 or so.

One vendor dedicated to food and drink, one location. 220 items right now, with our first run of BE enhanced Brandy about to be made. If we get to where I want it to be, offering a wide selection of the most popular items, as well as samples of the not so popular, in crates and singles - triple that number at least.

2. What Merchant skills do you currently have?

None. The chef character leaves the crates in our warehouse dedicated to food products, I pick them up and put them up for sale with my Master Merchant character on the one vendor that is decidated to food and drink products. Sometimes, depending on the amount, he will just offer it up to the vendor for 1 credit, I'll buy them and put them up for sale.(Our guild shares the guild treasury. All profits get put in there for everyone to use as needed.)

3. How often do you restock and/or how many items do you sell off your vendors in a given week?

I'm still collecting this data. Certain items sell as fast as I put them up and cannot be kept in stock at all. (Brandy, Canapes, Cakes and Port) Restock happens as soon as factory runs are done as a constant ongoing part of my day as a merchant. At least 5 sales a day off that vendor, a lot more once people start realizing there is more product available on it again. It was not uncommon for one person to come in and buy 5-10 crates, and have ten people do that in a day. (We moved the business/vendor house, halted production for a while, the food vendor sold out completely before production could be started on it again.)
