1. Get rid of them. Unless and until spices are revamped, chefs have a virtual monopoly on self induced performance buffs. You don't need to make more shots of brandy per container, you don't need to make stronger brandy, or longer lasting brandy, or less filling brandy. An alternative to it maybe to turn the thing from a barrel to a chafing dish or some such nonsense (crock pot, tupperware container, etc...) Possibly give foods a small perfomance boost. Say it keeps foods fresher or whatnot, gives it a small boost to duration. Either way, the cask is already a good enough decanter for your libations.
(And yes, I'm aware there are other drinks out there, substitute the drink of your choice, but brandy seems to be the most in demand drink, ergo the one that would be used most with barrels)

My choice is 1. to remove them. In my opinion we've been doing fine without them at this point. For those who want to make it a bigger multiplier this of this. It will slow down your sales, and with JTL can the chef proffesion really afford that now?
Either that or 7) Replace it with either a Jedi food or a pilot food. Now that would be useful to us.
