There's no way they're going to increase buff value by x10. That's just stupid.

As a non-chef, TK-Master, experimenting with different kinds of mind food/drink, my overall opinion so far is that the buffs food/drink gives are fine, but the duration of each buff is way too short. I see several people on this thread wanting buffs toremain short and sweet as they currently are, but I'm telling you now that by doing so it won't help with the popularity and desirability of food/drink.

So far, this combo isn't worth using. By the time I regen the mind boost, the timer on the buff is already almost up and I have to eat more just to keep the status quo. The only other combo I can see worthwhile is Bivoli Tempari(well worth using) and Ice Blaster, but the Ice Blaster will wear off before I regen the mind boost from the Bivoli.

As it stands, to remain fully food/drink-buffed while clearring a typical high-level lair(average 20min), I need to eat and drink about 21 each durindfire and dweezel. So accounting for breaks and travel time, thats about 42+ each food and drink per hour to get the most out of what chefs have to offer. Considering they only come in stacks of 3-6, thats 14-28 stacks of food and drink needed per hour.

I'm sorry to say but that's kind of rediculous. Even if they fix the crate=no-charges issue, that's still too much inventory space required and too much micro-management even for a light 3-hr SWG day, especially since there isn't a buff window that lets me know when things wear off. It's as much a concern for the power-gamer as it is for the casual player.

Master Doctors can enhance stats by up to 2000+ for 2500-5100 seconnds. Possibly even longer. There's no reason why master chefs shouldn't beas effective. The main problem is that chef buff durations are way too short and seriously need to be increased. While they don't have to be as long as the doctor enhancements, nor be uniformed for all schematics,at the very least they should be scaled up or down based on their net effect.

In general, I think all food/drink buffs should have a base duration of at least 10 minutes for the average 150 buff. This duration should be scaled up the lower the buff goes, and scaled down the higher it goes. So for example, the Tatooine Sunburn should only last 2-3 min at most, where as the Wastril Bread should last 30 min. This will force people to decide between duration vs effectiveness, as well as give value to otherwise useless and undesirable food/drink. (+90 stamina for 30 min would be very appealing to surveyors).

In addition, adding a buff-window will help as well, as it will let me know exactly when I need to eat/drink more. If I am better able to time it, I'll end up eatting more, which means I'll need to buy more, which means good business for the chef.

Just my $.02 on the matter.
