Last night I was using 122's and had a 40 second incap in pvp on 2 occasions. I also used 152's I had a 5 second incap and a 20 second incap.

From what I have gathered is that your recovery time is all based on how much health your in the hole at the time of the incap, as to how fast you recover. IE if you have 100 health left and get hit for say 800 dmg then your health is in the negative for 700. Now the bigger question is how many seconds is it per 100 health.

When I was pvping it was about 12 on 12. Everytimethat I was incapped, it was always one person that incapped me. I think maybe that my health was very low and they hit me with one hard shot causeing the long incap.

Very odd, when I ran tests on my chef/jedi, in every case I came back to consciousness INSTANTLY. And by instantly, I mean so fast I never even fell to the ground. I don't know if I just got incredibly lucky or if they very recentlyborked it (Always possible ).

Were you pvp'ing 1v1 or did you get ganked by 6?. I would say that if you were ganked by 6, you could easily find yourself much farther in the hole on your health than 150pts when incapped, thus reducing the effectiveness of the food immensely.

I take back what I said here. I have been thinking about that night. I was trying to figure out why I kept dying after only 2 incaps. I figured it out. I was actually incapped 3x but the cavaellin creams made me pop up so fast that I didn't notice that I was incapped the 1st time (lag had something to do with this Im sure). So when the incap timer showed 40 seconds it was probably my 2nd incap.

So from now on will try to use creams with lower stats on the incap recovery because with no incap timer at all they basically incapped me a second time right away--without me even noticing. At least that is my theory. I will have to test it out.

101Incap, 20 fill, 20 mins, 2 uses. Basically incap is zero. 90 or so would probably work too. a 1 second incap would give you time to let them think you are down.

I think thats the issue here. Should find out if you can be triple incaped with it being a high enough value if you cant then this food is very good if not i would opt for one that let you stay incaped for say roughly 2 seconds if not it will just help them kill you faster.

I just found this food the other night. Weak stats, but it did help indeed.

hmm this might be a dumb question but what is the difference between cavaelin creams and starshine suprise? besides one being a drink and one being a food.

Cavaellin Creams has a higher IR stat.

I did some testing on both cavaellin creams and starshine surprise a while ago. The starshine surprise almost always let me stand around a second before the DB timer got the DB in. I tested this with 2 toons on 2 computers and timed it. But in pvp sometimes it was just a bit too slow and I got the DB anyway. Maybe it was lag, but I died. The problem with the Cavaellin Creams is that with over 100 incap recovery, you recover so fast that you dont fall and your opponent keeps hitting you incapping you for the second time almost instantly. A 2 or 3 second incap is perfect because the combat is cleared and they start the DB - but you recover before the db timer can finish. The nice thing is that when they have the DB warm-up bar going across their screen, they can execute no other attacks - at least I cannot when I try to do it if they stand early. I find the best way to make the cremes is to use heavy filling-reducing additive and max out nutrition experimentation. Gives you a 2 or 3 second incap. Just my preference, but after learning through getting my azz schwacked a few times I've come up with stats that work for me.
