Thread: CU docs posted over in In Concept
However I do agree that having a broken schematic in our datapad is no good (we have several actually). Hopefully these will be addressed soon.
Anyway, welcome to the Chef community! Good to have you (as a poster, since you have been lurking

Without has much health as the 2 elite combat profession toon you will die much more quickly, the stims anyone can use won't save you. On PvE the same applies with less initial health you will not be able to solo as high of mobs as those who chose to to be all combat.
I'm also worried about the CU. They seem to have maginilized musicians, dancers, chefs and the crafting side of Smuggler. Hopefully it won't be that way. I fear the CU is going to alienate more players and we may see another mass exodus which might kill some servers outright. It is being rushed to much. Some say well they've been working on it a long time, but they haven't. Earnest work didn't begin until JtL was released and then patched to some degree of useability. By rushing the CU and RotW they have a great chance of alienating new players who come and then see all the bugs and leave before their initial 30 days.
Agreed. It seems the game will take a much stronger turn towards combat. So artisan profs like WS/AS will do fine, but I can't see be/chef doing very well, as it would appear they'll be used more by hardcore PvPers than anyone else and, at least on Valcyn, that's a very small percentage of toons.
The CU TC is meant to be up today, i'm not holding out hope, but if it is, then we can all make informed decisions.

Lets not not try and say what is going to happen, voice your concerns over what will might happen, but saying "this will marginilize people" is something none of us can say with any degree of certainty.

Actually, that'll take a while, as the blue frogs won't be around for a while.
But you're right, I am speaking too soon.
Well it is safe to say that things such as medical and food buffs will be marginilized or nerfed as that has already been stated. We just can't say that about such things as synsteak. We could also be granted new foods that are very useful.
The general trend is one of marginilization in general for crafters though. This has been taking place for a long time as the economy is being switched from a crafter base to a loot based economy. One could argue that this is a good thing I suppose, but there are better MMORGs on the market that have loot based economies. Crafting is what makes SWG SWGs.
