Thread: Flurry Chef Price List?
So how much do you guys charge for a crate of 25 7 charge Bofa Treats (pet food).
I have seen 1000 - 4000
I charge 3kcr because I can put them on the bazaar and people buy them.
I'm not disputing any of your prices, and nobody else from corbantis seems to post, so I can say how I charge for my stuff...
I rated all the products I need to make a product on a 1-5 scale of diffuculty to obtain. I try to get quality products, but I rarely will go hunting for the best stuff on all the planets, I usually keep my stuff on Corellia anyways. I then use a formula that caluates a modifier using the diffuculty ratings. I then charge 5cr per use * number of uses in one crate* number of crates in a stack* multiplier. So for an example a case of Ruby Bliel with 6 uses in a crate and 25 crates would go for 750cr times the multiplier 1.333 would come out to approxamately 1000cr. Feel free to ask me how I come up with the formula if your curious.
My personal opinion is that if somebody wants to buy my stuff, great. I know as a novice (or lower) level cook, you can't possibly sell enough food to support yourself, so you got to run missions (no prob, my guild hunts often). Besides, I usually don't only pimp my products, but my guild's shop in general. We buy/sell resources, we got weapons for sale, ect. To be honest my guild is my main reason for being a cook. I'm not in it for money, and I really don't have the methods to create huge sources of food, but selling the food is a supplement to my bank account. It also helps my guild by having pet food or helping to ease spice downers.
I could be wrong, it's just my opinion. And the market fluctuates no matter what, so if somebody sells something for 100cr that normally is 1000cr, they're eventually going to not be able to keep up with demand. Not to mention a potential for lower quality products.
