Thread: TC-5 food and drink test *Update for chef foods*

There is still HAM.
You still have Health, action and Mind.
But only Health gets damaged.
Action is used for combat specials.
Mind is used for heals and stuff.
So an action buff will let you do more specials, while a healthbuff will let you stand longer and a Mind buff allows a Doc to heal more (as examples)

Damn you level fast lol.
Some of the stuff sounds ery nice (only prof able to buff mind regen as far as we know).
But yes i'll be keeping a very close eye on some of the stats, they don't sound right.
Doctors have mind regen buffs as well.

If you look at the screen shots of the food in the FAQ above, they look the same.

Ok, i've done some tests so far while hunting and i've noticed some extra info as well:
Foods like Teltier Noodles (action buff) and Blob Candy (action buff also) cannot be combined to make a bigger buff. From what i've crafted so far, it seems the noodles are a higher buff. (Two foods that do the same thing that you can't take at the same time seems odd)
The crispic (general melee & range accuracy)seems like it's more on the # of attacks then time duration.
I don't know about everyone else, but the Bacta heal seems very random (between 200-400). With Aitha, there's a noticable difference in the heal efficiency (There was a more even heal. I'd say 300-350 most times).
The Ruby Bliel does help a lot with the speed of stimming. I would say it's about 2-3 seconds faster roughly between stims now when taken.
I didn't test the duration of the food/drinks officially, but the Ruby Bliel/Aitha/Teltier Noodles/Blob Candy/Bofa Treats lasted for at least2-4 missions without having to reapply them. The duration has been pretty decent!
I can't see what BE suppliments can do to make these buffs better, but from what i'm using right now, they're very nice staples right now.

Thats a very disturbing thought, and after some quick calculations it seemed it would be that way, this needs some further testing.
Otherwise this could ruin a whole lot of foods, and a whole lot of other products of other crafters as well!
Assuming stats of 900 OQ on the water and 300 on fruit, and 800 for PE on fruit. Also assuming the recipe of 10 water, 15 fruit is still the same.
If it was like its now on live:
OQ: (10*900 + 15*300) / 25 = 540
PE: 800
66% PE/ 33% OQ = 706 so should be able to go to 70%
If no stats mean 0 instead of getting ignored:
OQ: 540 (same as above)
PE: (10*0 + 15*800) / 25 = 480
66% PE / 33% OQ = 495 so would stop short before 50%, as CasualMaker reported.
So far PE is only considered 0 if NONE of the resources had PE (like in Gruuvan Shaal).
Extremely disturbing, you should expect to see a rise in the price of enhancers if this is true too - since many BE's use hight OQWood as a filler (no PE/FL stat) to keep costs down, instead of using an expensive 900 OQ/PE/FL Flora.
Any Chefs care to comment on what BE enhancers will be the most wanted now? Light Medium or Heavy Nutrition wise anyway - I sure hope the demand for non-Nutritions doesn't go up, I can't picture trying to collect Domesticated meat at 100-200cpu to re-sell Filling enhancers...
I also noticed that the ' Kanali Wafers' seem to be a decent Health buff (around 100) with low filling (16fill from posted unenhanced stats), suprising soenmthing so powerful is an Artisan item. You'll be competing with a lot of 14pt Artisans now. That's assuming foods still stack?
