I was just getting to love beinga chef. I could even use the stuff in combat. If I was getting beat up, pluck out a flamout and get a healing potion. If I wanted to conceal shot, pow get out vercupti and angerian and go to town. After the buffs dies out, I was able to eat almost immediately. My sales were huge. I made 3 million in december alone. I have bought the highest quality ingredients ot make these things. Wow, we get milk. yippee..

As for BE components. Give me a break. It is hard enough to find a non holo-grinding BE, let alone someone who will get you all the compionents you need at an inexpensive enough cost so as to offset the dramatic loss in postive gains that our customers have gotten used to.

As for the comment someone made about duration extension. Look closer man, the long durations for pets, not players. So that triple duration is meaningless.

Man this makes me so mad, I don't knwo what to say.

lol BristaAB.

1) Approximately triple duration - i dont think this is a big positivity, since now you have the stomach thinggy, and it will empty every 1 hours or so. i would rather stick with the old style.

4) the BE additives look fantastic - fantastic? now chefs are demanded(i know it's optional, but i dont think it will be, since your food'squality wont be that muchdifferentdepending on chef's experiments & resources anymore, instead the add-ons will make the difference)to use BE additives, cause the Devs want to help BEs alot more then any other professions these days.well anyways, this means that all food& drink's price will go higher, and it will damage both the customers and chefs. u still think it's fantastic? if ucome to scylla andbecome a BE, and provide me massive amountsof additives ina super low price, yeah it will be fantastic for sure hun:smileytongue

5) better grindables (these casks and stuff are grindable I assume) - i really dont think casks will be grindable at all.

After reading the multiple posts under the Chef category, I can only say that this is the saddest state of affairs yet.

Nikki well posted...

Seeing as the Devs have absolutely no intention of reading this...Vimes it up to you to pry their heads out of their arses...

I have been a Master Chef for sometime now and thought that despite the fact that we could never craft, let alone craft in quantity, 20% of the items we could make, that the remaining items were either useless or fit a perfect niche (i.e. sunburns, BoH, and all the mind buffs). Having said that, this patch is absolutely retarded...and I mean that with all sincerity.

1. Milk - bout time but how much milk will milking a eopie produce- same as sampling resources - wow great fun...and you'll have to follow the **edit** thing around...

2. New Stat Buffs - For those of you that havent crafted Dead-Eye yet - it is meant to up accuracy 50-100% depending on experimentation...for 13-15mins - Doesn't do a **edit** thing...you dont hit any more than you used to...so all these wonderfully new buffs that dont have a meter that can be seen in either your skill mods or character sheet will undoubtly be useless...

3.General Logistics- Some longest running complaints about the Cheffing profession, beyond the food and drink, is the lack of space for factory crates and resources, the limited number of building lots, and the multitude of resources required to craft mutliple items. - So this was addressed by:

Addingboth glasses & barrels whichwill be in factory crates and BE additives that will also be in factory crates...did any Dev. bother to do the math on this one...ingredient hopper - 100 spaces...minus 40 crates ofPu36(or alcohol),minus 40 crates carbosyrup, minus 40 crates of Food additives, minus 40-100 crates of barrels...yeah, not to mention the fact that during factory runswe have to store the Artisan and BE crates somewhere...Abolutely brilliant.

Creating a new harvester for seafood (another resource to survey, and another lot or two for harvesting). Yeah that helps alot...., lets just add milk into this one as well, except we'll have to stand in a herd of herbivores with a milking macro for 10 hours to get10k in milk.

So, in summary, you added more things for us to survey and harvest, a new harvester as well, along with about 100 extra factory crates to either stuff into a factory or hold in our inventory or more likely someone elses house...not to mention the gemstone and everything else we'll have to harvest for glasses & barrels and an equipment factory to produce that crap...

4. Experimentation - This is the foundation of what sets Master Chefs apart from each other, let alone all crafting professions...now this isnt even a concern... and to top it off one more stat to experiment with and no extra experimentation points...oh i see, the Devs solved that one by making experimentation pointless anyways....brilliant, why dont you just kill the Chef profession off and put up factories for people to stuff resources in....better yet you could get rid the paying real players and fill the entire game npcai's.

5. Inventory - How about getting an answer out of the devs about existing factory crates...are they going to run the patch regardless of what happens to all of our existing inventory....how bout giving every Master Chef an extra 10M and 100k of every organic with 900values across the board, before they bankrupt all of us...Rapists doesn't begin to describe this one....You guys hire some people from Enron or what?

6. BE Additives - I'm also close to Master BE and I've checked a few of the boards on this and havent seen the new schematicsor if they are going to change, it doesnt seem like that is going to happen now that milk and seafood should be readily (:smileyvery-happy available. BTW, Broad Spectrum is 70 ingredients(including seafood), Macra Pentamate is 80 (including seafood and milk). Yeah pricing this one with the new buffs is going to be really easy...

7. New HAM System - if it doesn't come with this patch, save patching chef till after it arrives...why not give the Chefs time to respond to the garbage being hurled at us. Keep the milk and the seafood coming...some of us would love to craft what we should have been able to craft all along before you throw it to the wolves...

Lastly, although it would seem that every Chef on these boards feels similarly, that fact of the matter is that Devs have already made the changes and the Patch is coming regardless of our input, we've seen it happen before and it's bound to happen again, and yes, to all of us. If you noticed the only thing they are actually interested in are the new buffs, whether or not they crafted properly, seemed to work properly, and whether or not we would use or make them. Does this have anything to do with what they are taking away from us or the new logistics that they are creating. I think its obvious that the lack of Dev involvement on this board, shows their intentions 100%, they haven't cared about Chef at all and they still don't to this date, apparently this was a patch assignment that some poor slob got stuck with for screwing up another profession. Looks like a lot of us will finally get a chef hat to hang on a hook and retire.
