I grinded through chef while doing holos a long time ago. The barrels were not working back then (I want to say this was in March of last year). Has anyone heard from SOE if they plan on fixing the problem?

Speaking of which.
If you can discuss this maybe not due to job.
Do you have like a weekly call with the dev team or just all through emails or how do you go about discussing things with them?
Like I said if you can discuss this if not no big deal.

It's not really a state secret. There are two main correspondant-only forums, one for more formalized information from us (top 10 bugs, feature requests, etc), the other for general discussion. We use the discussion board to chat between corres (like hashing out details for ideas that effect multiple professions) and to get information back from the devs. Tiggs and TH are the main communicators on the discussion board, but we get the occasional post from JustG, SOETyrant, and sometimes even individual devs.
We also have email contact information we can go through, but that's more for reporting exploits discovered, mailing doc files for more detailed top 10s or guides, etc.

Good to know they know about it.
But you're right, they've got more important stuff to work on really.

But I think most chefs agree that the 3x multiplier with casks is sufficient for almost all of our drinks (maybe not for the high-level, low-stack size ones like Breath of Heaven or Mandalorian Wine).
Perhaps that would be a solution? Allow Barrels only for Mixtology 4 and Master Chef drinks, like it works with Heavy Additives?
That way barrels finally get a use, and the low quantity drinks get a little boost.

Anyone know the secret to barrels. I tried to make some this weekend. I'm master Artisan, Armorsnith, Chef, Merchant 4004, andTailor 0010. My Quantity started at 6, but when I used casks it was up to 18. Before experimenting.

The dev's should just remove barrels. They are unneeded anyways.
