Don't forget about Spiced tea folks. 2 brandys, digest for 15 mins, and take down 8 +80 mind teas. Ya baby, +1600 mind for a half an hour.

Foods have a big opening here... without trying hard a Jedi can also use a nonstop buff of both pikatta and vegeparsine to grind thru those first few boxes where the lack of armor is a factor.
It really has the power to change all of our current recipes for stuff, not to mention the stats of the resources we select.

Yep, I'll be making some Spiced Tea too, although I'm not sure how you get it up to 50+ minutes duration. What I've got came out at +90 mind 35m 8 filling 9 uses.
O.Use better resources. I make +80, with 58 minutes and 59 seconds. 8% fill. If i wanted to bother with double amazing, i could get it to +82.. just not worth the waste to get just 2 extra points in power.
You have 12 points for Artisan Experimentation (nevermind, just saw your sig
Just curious because I think I may need to fix the calculations on my spreadsheet.

As a combatant I like the change, but as a chef I'm 50/50. It used to be a chefs goal to get foods that lasted their entire fill(45min), and now any joe shmoe chef can easly hit 30minutes on their foods. Again im 50/50 on the topic, it just makes the time you spent collecting the best resources to make your foods a little less important now.

Funnily enough i've more requests for a longer duration brandy than anything else.
People like to stack 4 brandy for as long as possible.

The way I see it, people will now be able to eat MORE food than before. Eating more = more sales = more $. Honestly I don't see how this can be a bad thing. It also means that we'll not need to find those ultra-stat resources, whihc makes our jobs easier too. Other than the the fact that we now will need to re-think our experimental priorities in some cases (heaven forbid we should have to evolve
) and perhaps craft and stock vendors more, there is nothing here bad that is evident to me.
Rejoice in the change - it's better than a nerf!

I was really unsure about whether I'd like this change or not, but it's turned out to be just fine. As a combatant, I enjoy the fact that I can consume something that's lasts for 45 minutes and have an empty stomach before the effect wears off. It's really come in very handy. As a chef, I think it comes down to people realizing the benefit of being able to consume several more items before the effect from the first doses wear off, and it doens't take long to figure that one out.
So far, so good...BUT I haven't crafted anything since the patch hit, so I'm tempted to try everything on a 30 minute timer. Maybe I'll ask all of my special order folks which they'll prefer. I'd venture to say that they all still want the longer duration, or if nothing else, to pull a smidge from duration and lower the filling.
