im a master doc. i started a second account just to make a chef. almost finished with him. making some pretty decent bivoli already for personal use. the reason i made a chef is because i cant afford the bivoli. not because i think the price on the bivoli is too high. im just always broke. bivoli is great stuff. basically it allows a chef to enhance my enhancments! who could complain about such a thing. i would be very disapointed to see a fellow doc complaining about anything at all! as much crap as we take for the randomness of our buffs, we of all people should be sympathetic to prices of crafted goods from other professions. especially if the crafted good actually enhances our ability to effectively reduce the crap we take. a market will set its own prices. if your product does not move, then your prices are too high. if you cant keep it stocked then they can be higher. screw the complainers. in fact buy a buff from them, then complain about the quality of the buff. make sure you also tell them that any doc worth his salt would not buff without being under the influence of bivoli. your goods belong to you. you put the effort into producing them. by selling them, you are actually providing a service. if people dont want to pay your price for that service then they can either find another provider, dont use the service at all, or put the hard work into creating the products themselves.

Thanks SirVimes. I wasn't completely sure and didn't want to state it as fact so I put apparently in there. Looks like it was a good call . Have we heard anything from the devs as to what effects melee/ranged defense, defense vs. kd/dizzy/stun/etc foods/drinks will have on the hardcap? I'm thinking that with them stating it as a hardcap that even we won't be able to buff above a certain point. If that's the caseI think most of the new foods will be pretty useless since most people who will want buffs to those areas will most likely have close to the max anyway . Correspondent issue?

BTW, what's happening with the correspondent position? I would volunteer for it, but realistically I probably don't have the time and wouldn't be as patient with holochefs invading the forums . Has SciGuyCo said he's up for it?

Even if the food can't take you past the hardcap, it will be useful for freeing up skill points. You won't have to spend as many skill points on +defense skills when you can just pop a food to bridge the last 25-50 points.
