Thread: how many are ready to leave chef if no love comes soon?
Ida they will buy this one order and find out the hard way about the chef bug and will order nothing more .
I have a ton of money from making pet food anyways so if money is all you want then just make crates of pet food.
I would rather be useful at buffing but hey thats just me.
I tell everyone that orders from me about the bug and they buy anyway. And I've gotten multiple repeat orders from people since the bug started, people who have already experienced the bug.
I'm not saying the stack bug isn't absolutely critical and awful. But there is a certain group of players (mostly serious PVPers) who are willing to deal with the inconvenience for an extra edge. This also, fortunately, is a group of people who generally are wiling to spend a decent amount of money for quality stuff. So even with a small percentage of players caring about food, there is a reasonable amount of money to be made off of them considering there are an extremely small number of master chefs.
Well, I made my desicion on this issue. I just cancelled my subscription yesterday. They haveacknowledged food is screwed up, that our tree is out of wack, that we need to be more useful, but aren't giving us any inkling of trying to fix us.
I don't want to give up Master Chef and become something else because I have the feeling as soon as I do, they might fix chef and I will become ultimately hostile. It also makes me kinda ill to play now with a broken class character, so there is no point in paying monthly for them to fix other people's fun. I'm wondering if when my time is up in a few days for my subscription if I can still check the forums. I'd like to stop by and peek occasionally and see if they did fix us. It'd bring me back to subscribe if I knew they fixed us. I doubt I will be able to so Sony can fxors themselves out of my money twice.
The Retired Tile on Tarq
Broken Master Chef
there are parts of the game that i think are pretty fun, like going to other wordls (than my homeworld) and walking across them, for hunting, sightseeing, and a way to get away from nasty city lag. I like it so much that this is my current config:
Artisan - 0/4/0/4
Scout - 4/2/4/3
Marksman - 4/0/0/3
Rifleman - 1/0/0/0
CH - 1/1/1/0
Chef - 3/2/2/4
I nuked my vendor and the entire business line because it is pointless and have been looking for merchants who might want to carry my food, but just a couple nibbles. If I can find some miners and farmers who are responsible with pricing, I will dump my surveying line.
I think what may end up happening is that I will hit Master Chef and then turn around and dump it. Just as a kind of "tag."
I have been...
Novice Entertainer 1/0/1/0, Novice Merchant 2/0/0/3, DE 0/0/0/2, AS 0/0/1/0, WS 0/0/1/0
But purely as a chef, I do nothing but get on to check my harvesters and occassional try to arrange some type of business arrangement. And on weekends, I'm that Rifleman/Ranger wannabe.
In the end chef will be eaten, sooner than later if there is no love forthcoming...
