This is not true according to my experience. I was in a large pvp battle (about 20-30 people) the other night and I looked around to see what kind of foods people were using. 8/10 pvpers were staking Artisan foods.Do a check yourself sometime.
And why not? They can stack them, have them last for 40 mins, and save room in their stomach for other things.

Please read all of my post. It's generally only the newer people that I see who pvp who use chef foods.
