Thread: SHOW ME THE MONEY!!1!!!!11!
the one thing ( very crucial at that ) thats not being mentioned here .. is the crafter / customer relation ..
If your customer base that easily shaken ? where new chefs can just steal customers from you ? The thing that rescource buffs will not change is routine .. what i mean by that is ..Players have a routine , if you are a reliable crafter , that keeps his vendors stocked ... Players take note of that .. They know that the "Sk Foods " wp is a GOOD one , do dont delete it because when you need food .. that place has it ..
I new that the minute i became a merchent , that the secret was having fully stocked vendors ... I recentlly branched out into armor ...I could of very easilty put up an armor vendor and threw on 10-20 suits ... but i waited ....I made 50-75 suits ...5-6 suits of R.I.S... and THEN i put up my vendor ....Reason being is the first impression is the most important ..
I guess the point im trying to make here ...is nothing is going to shake a well established crafter ...word of mouth is everything , keeping full vendors is the key ....
Having now had a chance to try out the new buffs - do you still think they make so much difference?
They have made a very minimal difference to my foods, maybe 1 fill point here, 3 seconds dur there but not a major difference at all.
I think there has been a little bit of scaremongering in this thread and the effect of the buff has been grossly exagerrated. I think the real issue here is "but I cant be a$$ed to go get a buff".
Me? I am just pleased that entertainers have got something useful again and I am happy to see the cantinas filling up again.
Will I always go get buffed? If I am making runs of BoH, Vercupti etc then probably yes. If I am doing runs of components or Bliel, Candy etc then maybe not. If I really feel I cant be a$$ed to hit the cantina I will either 1) craft components, 2) craft artisan foods, 3) hunt resources, 4) do my harvester runs, or as a last resort 5) log on my combat toon.
IMHO this publish is not going to break the chef profession.
