Hehe, i've found out lately (through some rough testing, i'm working out a way to define it better) that BF may play a part in the success of experimentations.

Just finding ways to get BF other than the 200 BF you get from cloning is proving tricky, i'd like to test in 10 point increments, but ive found no way, other than fighting stuff like NS, which isn't really that convient.

I just spent 10 minutes writing out a huge post with all the information on what I sell (and sell a lot of) that allows you to PvE without buffs, as well as popular options like 29 Fill Vercupti.

But then I hit the back key by accident and all of it got erased.

So since I am too tired to write it all again, I will simply say : Yes. The answer is yes. I make constant buff versions of each, although the Vercupti is the only one that sells. Its +560/29Fill/10:20. While constant buff BoH is possible, it doesnt sell for me. However 50 Fill BoH DOES sell. I make +1050/49Fill/7:00 BoH that sells nicely....usually with my normal 49Fill Vercupti which is +1100/49Fill/7:40

Hope this helps.

One possibility, if you have ents in your city cantina (or are REALLY dedicated) would be to start with the high BF value, then bring it down little by little by watching an entertainer for a few seconds at a time, doing your tests between each increment.

Boring as hell, but might be easieir than trying to aquire small amounts of BF at a time

Impressive, most impressive.

I'll have to try that out.

Right - if I understood you correctly

Dont hit port for the first time. You will fill up on port REAL fast. Wait until you get the first one on its own....THEN sip port for the second line. That way you only bring port into it when you have a fighting chance of pulling it off. Using this method you will NOT fill up on port, and you will get 12 amazings on most recipes.

I do the same thing as Vomit

Experiment first on the line with the most boxes until I get amazing success, then use port to try and get the second line. But usually I keep going with the great successes... it won't be the quality I'm going to sell on my vendors, but I can at least get some credits for it selling it on the bazaar. When it takes 5-50 attempts to get most things, we're looking at wasting half a million credits worth of components/resources just looking for a schematic. So unless I CF, I usually keep at it and craft out the item

Sounds right to me, sometimes you will get unlucky, like the Canape schem that took me over 50 tries to get right...I need 4 point amazing for 33 fill, then 8 point amazing for 750 F/W...it took me over 2 full crates to get it done....do the 1st experiment until you get amazing....then sip port and try the 2nd.

It drove me nuts by the end, so I named the schem "Vangerian Canape Blizzz finally got it after 50 tries"

I've got a couple good chuckles from customers who understand my frustration, and appreciate the time I took to make it. Good thing It was for 20 crates, well 18 anyway

let yourself be diseased by a cm, that causes bf in small increments, as soon as the value you want is reached, let a doc curedis you.

starting with a high bf and going downwards is probably easier though :>

The only way that ths could be considered constant buff would be if you took only 1 Vercupti and no other foods. Constant buff implys that when the effects wear off you can always take another. Since everyone will either take as many Vercupti as they can at a time or mix it with other foods such as synthsteak, thakitillo, snow cake, vegeparsine, ahrisa or any other food that people liketo use in combo, I must say NO. It is not possable to make a constant buff vercupti.

Err......I think you misundertand. That original post of mine had an error in it that I corrected in my next post. I didnt edit it because there was no reason to. That may be part of the problem.

But to clarify:

YES....constant buff vercupti IS possible. Period. I make it, as do about 4 other Chefs that I know of on my server. If you scroll down from my original post, you will see 4 recipes for Vercupti. Two of them are constant buff versions (#2 and #4).

#2 is +468 / 29 Fill / 9:00 Duration. 29 Filling is 8.7 minutes worth of digestion, so at 9 minutes once it wears off you can take it again.

#4 is +486 / 32 Fill / 10:02 Duration. 32 Filling is 9.6 minutes worth of digetion, so at 10:02 when it wears off, you can easily take another one right away.

These does not take up your whole stomach, in factthey takes up less than 1/3 of your food stomach at any given time. Not too bad. Plenty of room for synthsteak or thak or snow cake or vegeparsine or ahrisa or any of the other foods. In fact you can use many of these with this vercupti if you eat smart. Banking the synthsteak early andusing long duration ahrisa and snowcake are a couple tricks....and there are many many more.

Personally with the current Doc buffs I usually dont have the need for constant buff vercupti unless I am PvPing....and to be honest PvPers are my biggest customers for the 33 Fill and less Vercuptis. Having an extra 500 HAM while using less than a third of your food stomach can be lifesaving in some circumstances.

If I have explained this poorly let me know. I wasnt trying to be obtuse. Sometimes I am prone to rambling though

I disagree. In order for it to be a constant buff the duration of one application of the food has to be the entire stomach timer. So in order to call it a "constant buff", the duration of your 29 fill vercupti would have to be 26.1 minutes and the 32 fill would have to be 28.8 minutes. Just as a constant buff from brandy that is 49 fill under the old timer had to be 44.1 minutes.
