Entrees I --> Sinthsteak 189 xp. (20 cereals 20 vegetables 5 hide).
Novice Chef --> Soypro 80 xp and then 40 xp when you eat it. (Only uses 10 cereals and 10 vegetables).

1a) gather resources and craft them into food.
1b) Take one chef + one meat grinder = ground chef.
2) Yes.
Just to cover the smart-alek responses you're likely to recieve.
Check the FAQ in the "New Chef Guides" sticky thread, there's a whole section on what resources to get, what gives the best xp, and a setup for a macro to speed things up.

i finished the grind by making nothing but alchohol in practice mode. only 42 xp per crafting stage but with a good macro it can be done within a reasonable time. took me about a week and a half. that was steady hard crafting for many hours per day and night. i imagine that a person could grind it out in 3 weeks casually. i went for alchohol because it only requires one resource. cereals are easy to come by with a few harvesters and double clicking on one resource is very appealing to me as well.

Try doing it with Soypro sir. Get LOTS of Wheat/Vegetables (I use Wild Wheat and Beans)
Then, don't do it in practice mode, do them in crafting mode, and when you get a LOT of them in your inventory... time to eat my friend. Creating a Soypro gives 80 xp, and eating it gives 40 xp (so 120xp total) And since its a component, it doesnt have a "filling" value, so you can eat all of them ![]()
Get 3-4 tools, and macro away
(don't forget, no practice mode, you wanna get that 40 xp eheh)

so i guess the real world involves looking at the floor since all you have to do is raise your head 5inches to see the Stickies. And how the hell do you have 122 posts and do not know what stickies are.

They have a formula that is quite handy. Complete resource list to get form Novice to Master.
You may also look around for a crafting macro & have 3-4 food & chem crafters available.
Good luck, and it can be done over a weekend. Less if you can click fast.

If there was only a post that said something along the lines of, "Read this! Yes, you with the question, click this first (Chef guides and tools)"
