Guide didn't really explain my questions (Inspiration Buff and Bespin Port) but nice enough and gave good background info.

This guide has a section deticated to what Bespin port helps with, and inspiration buffs do the same thing.

If you want to get all of your points to come out as amazing successes you greatly increase the chances of that happening by experimenting in big blocks of points rather than one point at a time.
When I make medical components, where all I'm wasting in a small ammount of resources, I throw all 12 points into the scheme in one foul swoop, but for finaly products where you want to waste as few components as possible the method described here is definitly the most effective.
