Does anyone know if the bug affects stacks being used as pet food? Not a guess, for sure.

I keep a sunburn stack on my hotbar and it got bugged. I don't think it makes a difference.

no feeding your pet is unaffected by this bug.. u can even use bugged stacks to feed your pet. but feeding your pet doesnt fix the stack.

This works for me, my stacks have never been bugged. Maybe someone else want's to try this too and see if they can verify.

I have a 20-slot satchel which is empty. I placed the empty satchel inside my equipped travel pack. Then I put all my stacks of food inside this satchel. You can eat right from the satchel....I've never had food get bugged this way.

So THATS what was wrong w/ my sunburns... i'd been carrying around a stack of 8 and a stack of 2 forever now scratching my head wondering why I couldn't eat em... rofl Figures i found out today... destroyed em last night.... oh well... i WILL buy food when we can use it... it stacks nicely w/ my Enhances =)

#3 doesn't work for me =/ I haven't tried it with absolutely everything that's gotten bugged, but I did try it with a number of items. I'm the owner of the house I'm setting them down in, I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Every food item I make that I eat myself gets bugged if I log or get disconnected. I've had a number of customers complain as well.

I've decided to discontinue selling food till it gets fixed. And maybe the food gets rebalanced as well. *sighs* I love being a Chef and this bug really hurts.

So far Biglaz's idea is working. Here's exactly what i did...

In my equipped travel pack i placed an empty satchel that holds 20. I opened the satchel and put my newly bought burns in it. I then put a link to one of myburns on my toolbar and drank them from the toolbar.

AFTER ZONINGABOUT 10 TIMES AND LOGGING OUT AND IN 4 TIMES, THEY'RE STILL NOT BUGGED.

Now this could be incredible luck or it could be actually working. I pray it's working....

I am not a chef, but I commiserate whole-heartedly with your class. I have purchased more than one crate of bugged food. I really don't want to become a "drug user" so I will have to find food that will do the same things, or close to it. You folks have my deepest sympathy over this game-affecting bug. It is not your fault and no apologies are needed, at least to those of us with some semblance of intelligence. Good luck!

I actually tried your suggestion of putting an empty satchel in my travel pack and putting my food in it. I only drank 1 sunburn from all that was put in that satchel, logged out for little over an hour, came back and ALL the food/drink in the satchel was bugged, even the stuff I had never even touched!! I was so upset.

I'm just waiting for the fix now, I don't dare touch my own food unless I am next to my house, which thankfully I was last night.

Glad i came and read this thread. I was thinking that i was going nuts or doing something wrong with the food. As much as i love the benefit of food, i wont be buying anything for a while til this bug is fixed. I wish the chefs the best and hope to see you guys in full swing soon

Thanks for posting this info Jonzun!

The 'placing the food on the floor' workaround has been working great for me. I can't even count how many unuseable food and drinks I ended up trashing because they were just taking up space in my pack.

If (and that's a big 'if') my chef continues to sell food and drink before this is fixed, I will include your workaround info in the item descriptionso buyers can at least try it out if they get bugged. I feel sorry for the people who bought some of my items with8 or moreservings and only got 1 or 2 uses out of it. But hey, I got burned by this one a few times myself
