Can be done in a similar way to the way i use stims, drag the said item (in this case food) to a spare slot on the actions bar. Then just click on your pet and press the corresponding F-key for the food.

is there a way to feed the pet SPECIFIC food you want to feed it??
I really hate it when my pet eats my Muon Gold
hey... that's a good way to get rid of spices when being scanned... feed it to your pet

Hi there
i dont know if there is a method to avoid my pet consuming my spice or my combat food when i select the radial menu "FEED". I obviously have cheap pet food and food gathered by myself but the stupid guy seems to enjoy more the muon gold than the travel biscuits!! (he is addicted now!!)
can you help me?

Put all the food/spice except the petfood into a backpack and to be sure equip the backpack. As far as I can see, you can only feed a oet with food in your imediate inventory.

exactly...i was wondering for quite some time where my muon kept going lol...but alas, i put my muon up in my slots and then slide it into my backpack, then my pet leaves it alone *S*

My pets are muon stoners. I can't help it. I pull multiple muon out a time for some heavy fighting and I inevitable forget to get them all on my toolbar and back into my backpack. My pets are constantly high - they go straight for the muon every time I forget. What should I do Rikki?
A friend told me to set up a hotkey macro for selecting your pet food and then selecting the pet to avoid this. Haven't tried but it may be a solution.
Actually wish that pets wouldn't eat spice. I don't see a lot of benefit in buffing the mind of a pet....oh well.

I don't think the hotkey works, seems like pets need to be fed from the radial. Only time the hotkey worked for me, I had forgot to target the pet and ate the pet food myself. Hey, but I'm a Bothan so it's okay.
Packs are the way to go

hmm, not sure...but if you have space somewhere on your function bar, drag the petfood there...then select your pet and press petfood function key? I do that to feed myself, hehe. not sure if it'll work for feeding a "target", I could be wrong...just an idea to try. If I wasn't at work, I'd try it out myself. ![]()
(one other thing - there's specific foods just for pets now after the recent patch...they might not be able to consume spice anymore. anyone care to experiment?)
