I put up a Coffee and Donut theme. All drinks are coffee names and all foods are donuts. Its really taken off.. so much that I've had to have friends plop down food factories. I'm up to 13 food factories.I'm really having trouble keep the meat needing items stocked as well as the usual BoH's. Here's a few samples of the names I've been using.

Ryshcate = Honey Glazed Donuts

Flameouts = Dantooine Special Blend

Fishaks = Dark Roast Coffee

Vercupti = Apple Fritters

Thaktillo = Chocolate Donuts with Sprinkles

Funny stuff. I stock about 15 items along with pet food renamed to Donut Holes.

I did the color thing too... sigh. I actually had customers complain when that got nerfed!

When I first hit master, I remember drooling over Liv's site and thinking I'd come up with my own names for the foods too. I had about ten decided when I realized... no way was I going to remember them all, how could I expect my customers to do so! I don't put my name in the title either... just abbreviations for the stats buffed.

But that's just for crates. I have a bartender vendor in a player cantina too, and I rename almost everything on him, mostly drinks, named after town residents. Malikav Martini, Saioka Sunrise, Jaq's Jello Shooters... and so on. The residents love them.

I rename a lot of foods but I also sell the regular named ones as well.

People buy "Chuba Trimpian" just as fast as they buy "Trimpian" and Mulligan's Fishak sells just as fast as Angerian Fishak Surprise.

Rename everything. Mostly after them members of my PA that provided the materials to make the item. To help avoid confusion, I try to give an idea in the buff as well. Things like:

Fray's HAM Booster
Gogo's Mind Nectar
Trinity SenBurn

Stuff like that. The people it's named after like it and display in their houses, and the stuff looks great in my Cantina where all the people hang out.

only time i rename food is when i want to irritate people and the food i rename is ormachek, i rename it

Krayt Tissue (legendary)

and list it on the bazaar for 3k and i put this in the window

if you are dumb enough to fall for this i got a whole crate of tissue with your name on it for 25k just send me a tell

I rename mine when I'm not in a hurry.

Yeah my Peace of Mind (fishnak0 was originally Snowolf's Peace of Mind after my guild's TKA. But he left to go to Final Fantasy and hasn't been back. So now I name everything after the city I live in.

I had people complain too

Recently, I had some left over crates that were colored and sold them as limited editions. Peope knew I was kidding but they liked them.

I just wanted to say how imaginative. /salute_with_rolling_pin

I rename stuff my PA members come up with in our RP forum on our website. We have names like:

• Flaming Wookiees - (Drinks that flame like Wookiees on fire! Oooo!)


• T-21 Wookiee Cookiees - (Cookies with a real punch!)


• Lekku Fizz - (Drinks that fizzle my nizzle!)


• Namana Juice


• Dewback Ribs


• Pink Rose Party Punch


• Trout Snacks


• Trout Beer


• Chuff Wings - (The all time favorite of the PA.)

These are just a few of the names we have come up with.

For regular stocking of items I leave everything the way it is (except for Pet Chow of course) but I add "by Haala" at the end of everything so they don't forget who served them

When I'm tending bar I like to make the drinks from scratch so that I can personalize it -- "Issov's Extra Smooth Jawa Beer", or "Jericho's Beer of Loutish Drunkenness"

I just do Stasy's (Name of product). Renaming is dumb and confuses other chefs and buyers if they never know what the original is. **edit** that coffee shop theme. The people who buy that stuff ask me constantly for things and don't know what the hell it's real SWG name is.

But that's my opinion. I could be wrong.
