I agree with Nikki, I dont think we will really know how successful cantinas are until more player cities are established to see how often they are really used.

5 Lots is a big waste on an empty building. Hopefully they will be used more than the cantinas in the big cities.

As far as the old my house is a cantina thing....houses DID act like a cantina. Theres no difference. You can heal bf/mind wounds in a house just as you can in the cantina.

well.. with the other 5 lots being taken up by 4 BER 13 floras and I open for a chem or water when needed I am managing just fine.. good thing that I have another char for the house and factories..

The only thing i don't like about the cantina is that there is no "back room" of any type. just one open space. A back room would have been nice so that I wouldn't have to maintain a house as well.

That is my only real complaint about the cantina. There should be a basement or something.

I have an idea... would it be too hard to just allow chefs to place cantinas, and then just allow dancers and musicians to place theatres? One place could heal mind and the other could heal BF... I don't... I just feel a little left out that the Musicians and Dancers get to place Theatres and Cantinas, plus also we were forgotten when they first put in cantinas on the Test Center.

Hey look at it this way. You guys get cantinas. Ya know what merchants get? Cool new shops? Nope. Tents. Little teeny tiny tents. Cheap housing. Cool shops with a window? Cash registers? Counter tops? Cantinas? NOpe. Tents. Yeah.

Houses as a cantina were of questionable use before because the "real" cantina was always closer to the shuttle port that you flew in on....why run out to the "ring of suburbs" in the hope of finding a player cantina (unless you had a player settlement and insisted on using your own services)

I had a large house that I set up as a club, around 1200 meters north of Coronet. The traffic I got was people visiting my vendors, not coming for drinks.

The cantinas in the player cities will do much better. They are (IMHO) much cooler looking than most of the NPC cantinas and folk will probably feel a greater ownership of their player cities than they did the NPC cities (since placing the mission terminals for Galdor, we've had a great number of citizens basing their hunts right from "home"...it's pretty neat)

I used to have a friend who didn't need his lots to host my factories but now with the object creator of factory runs being the owner of the factory I moved one to my own to create the final products and create the subs in the other.

Oh and very nice cantina
