Chef Archive
Thread: New Top Five issues list, brainstorming.
2. Need alternative for BE additives. On Lowca, it is almost impossible to find a BE. I would even be up for moving these to the chef schematics. BE's complain that too much meat/milk is required to make a run of chef tissues.
3. All races, including Wookies should be able to wear crafting apron.
4. Larger crate sizes for components.
5. Stomach empties too slow.
1) missing schematics - we lost a bunch, were promised they'd come back...but still not even a word on a single one of them coming back yet.
2) bring back experimentation on subcomponents - before this was removed the products chefs created were often quite different from chef to chef...even given the same resources. after it was removed...all you need is the same power BE additive, and similar resources, and you can make an identical product without much thought or effort.
3) rarity of the mando wine schem - while yes its not all that critical for a chef to have one...it just never sat right that this schematic is sooooo much rarer than RIS certification...the other "loot" permanent schematic. especially since RIS is already much more useful...and once the CB hits...will likely still be much more useful.
4) FS grind - this is a new one, and effects all crafting professions...the grind isn't hard...just mind numbingly boring. personally I feel this new grind is 10x worse than the old one was...for crafters (for combat chars it actually is easier/more fun)...the resource requirements for the FS crafting quests in phase 2 and probably 3 need to come down as well...200 loot components per person to complete phase 2...thats totally ubsurd.
5) broken schematics - several schematics display incorrect formulas...or use stats that simply don't exist on the resources needed to make it (ex. garmorrl).

Hi again
Thought I would resub and check things out (yay me, one day before the free 10 days haha). Anyhow, I have to say..I'm very surprised to see that after all these months chef seems to be exactly like it was when I left. Wow, still no wedding cake even? That no stat stuff mustve been massively unbalancing
I can't comment yet on the other stuff, but these two...wow, somehow I just knew at least wedding cake would be back.
2. Assembly - Make the food assembly work like all other professions (should be an easy one). That is that an amazing initial combine increases base stats
3. BE Additivies - With the lack of BE currently (I am lucky i actually got 3 working with me) would love for the additives to be moved over to chef to create. Most BE don't like making additives, they are there for the pets.
4. Improved Factory organization - Not that it's difficult, but moving subcomponents from output to input hoppers is tedious. Let us have a button to push to Move all items in output hopper to input hopper.
5. Plates - Having a multiplier for food the same way as drinks.

1. Replace Barrels with Plates (or something along those lines) - Doesn't have to increae food from 3 uses to 21, but even 6 or 9 would be nice.
2. Rework BE additives. I've never made one besides nutrition. 40K units of domestic meat? What, 10 creatures in the entire galaxy drop this, the top one a Challange Level of about 30?Or 40K units of Milk? Why bother.
3. More recipies for sure (and this one should be fun). More race and professionrelated foods. Powerful but dangerous foods (Blowfish anyone?). Foods that absorb more damage/provide protection against specific ddamage types (a la synthsteak) but only against 1-2 types max, multiple doses prohibited.
4. Confirmation on whether or not Pyro Cake and Bespin Port actually work (stack) in manufacturing and research centers.
5. Increase crate size to 50.
Excellant idea !
I would love to see a version of Synthsteak for every resist type. With the revamp on the horizon this could be very helpful.
Crate size up to a 100 like with architecht.
