A small point, but useful all the same.
I did a test today, and found out, you do not need to be an admin to run a vendor, you only need to be admin to *place* a vendor. Once the vendor is running, you can remove house admin privileges, and keep the vendor admin privileges. I could see this being very useful for catering parties, or placing vendors in cantinas that you don't own.
I verified this by having a friend remove me from the admin list after the vendor was initialized. I could do everything I could when I was admin, save rotating.
