YeahI was gunna post about that change to.
Just means I got to do Master Marksman, Master Brawler, some entertainer and some scout
I was trying to get a question thru but the other one went thru instead
If there are new armor and weapon types going in with the CU then doesnt that affect Armorsmiths and Weaponsmiths?
I think we should be able atleast to alocate to or from those 2 crafting profesions at minimum. One still would not be able to have an insta mega Armor smith because one of the major thing about smithing is the resources. W/O actualy going thru the proffesion you would not know or have all the resources to craft

The universal answer to the CU questions right now is, yes, jedi are gonna die many times over, then are gonna die some more. Sorry, I couldn't help it, but the jedi forum is hilarious

Fellow Commandos, I was wondering when the CU goes live will we have to retrain and learn Proffessions all over or what. Because I was thinking after looking at the combat Matrix diagram that carbineer commando might be nice with gut shot flames done with Flame thrower. I am currently commando-tkm.

nobody that option is there for later... lots of the options are there for later... they only want you to test novice professions first...

I logged on and thought I would try the medic skills out. I never got any xp
Do you have to be grouped to get xp?

New changes, the Devs are trying to push the medical profs into combat more, so, the moment we are required to be in group and only healing during combat (you have to fight) and you get healXP with your combatXP.

Please tell the devs we don't like the change

While I did like that we got xp while in group, I did not like the complete removal of xp from healing ungrouped strangers.
There has to be a middle way, that will encourage grouping, but also allow you to advance some if you heal ungrouped strangers. Thankfully I can still heal those strangers, but I know that many will just consider it a waste of time, and tossing a heal to someone in trouble is now discouraged by game mechanics, unless they are grouped with you.

I managed to get XP without being in a group, BUT I also had to be attacking to get it. I was attacking the same thing as the person I was healing. Problem is, it's hard to stay in combat once you stop targeting what you're attacking to target who you want to heal because the auto-attack stops working and then the creature stops attacking you.

Does anybody know if you get xp for healing wounds while out of combat? So long as you do I'll be quite happy with the change because it will help prevent tumbling post CU.

If (in live) I am Doc 4030, Master Rifleman, Master Marksman, will I get a full respec when the CU hits live?
