Sciguy,
While I agree BoH needs improvements in Quantity, adding barrells in not the answer. Barrells will only create a new problem with excessive uses in Brandy. Perhaps the Devs would be open to allowing BoH to have more quantities on the front end. Hence, Casks can have a better effect on such low end uses Like BoH.

Second, the master level foods need something to set them appart from the rest. BoH, Vercupti, Flameout, Pudding and Thakitillo are great ideas but they lack emmensely in certain areas and they must be addressed with quantity multipliers or with multiple slots for BE additives. I dont make much of any of the master level foods.

Well, here I am breaking my own rule about keeping this thread about non-game stuff, but "do as I say, not as I do".

What I meant was that the impact of barrels could be minimized by limiting the drinks they could be used in (say only Mix IV and master Chef recipes). This was actually mentioned by TH at one point when the revamp was on TC (it turned out it was only supposed to apply to T'illa T'ill which for some reason the devs want to keep single-serving). So they would have an effect on the quantity of BoH or Flameout, but not brandy. Of course, this would really have to be combined with invalidating barrels as a component in those recipes that aren't affected by them (barrels don't show up in the filtered resource list), so you don't waste them.

This is definitely something that should be covered, but how about putting it off for another thread?

Oh No! Now the correspondent position is going to the dogs. (bothan)

Congrats. Can't think of anyone that deserves taking over for SirVimes.
