Just wanted to ask a few things about your addative buying habits, I dont want a flame fest here or the BE forum, or PriceWars2004, just honest answers.

1) What server do you play your chef toon on? Sunrunner
2) How much do you currently pay for additives? approx 30-33k for bsn's
3) What is the *most* you'd be willing to pay for additives? I have paid as much as 65k when there was a drought
4) What would you do if you couldnt get them at the price you wanted to pay? See #3. Because of this, I have obtained an alt, grinding BE, and am currently at 4-3-2-4 BE, and trying to figure out what combat profession to pick up for the meat gathering. I had decided previously on Rifleman, but now I don't know, dithering again, looking at Pistoleer.

Thanks so much

It's this very problem of additive droughtthat encouraged me to get an alt and start grinding BE. But, it is difficult maintainingmy chef vendors, grinding, and having a real life (just ask my husband! :smileyvery-happy.

Thanks for letting us input, NancyJ

1) What server do you play your chef toon on?
Tempest

2) How much do you currently pay for additives?
Micro 55 30K
BSN 85-87 45K
Intel 115-116 55K

3) What is the *most* you'd be willing to pay for additives?
Well That depends on the quality. When the Only BE's that will even deal with chef's and their large demands (which are few) are making 81-84 BSN I won't pay anything. For consistent BSN 86+ 50K maybe a little higher for 87+, Intelligents 116+ 60K maybe a little higher for 117+. The biggest thing that determines price for me is the BE's ability to keep up with what i need. If i place an order and they say i need to wait a week to get that kind of meat or longer, it's not worth it to me.

4) What would you do if you couldnt get them at the price you wanted to pay?

Quit Chef. I'm not paying for a 2nd account and i won't give up being able to fight.

1) What server do you play your chef toon on? Ahazi
2) How much do you currently pay for additives? Nothing, I got into the whole Multiplayer aspect, and made friends, and now get them made for me for free, supplying my own ingredients of course. The cost of the ingredients to pay hunters is another thing. Please advise if you want those prices.
3) What is the *most* you'd be willing to pay for additives? See above answer.
4) What would you do if you couldnt get them at the price you wanted to pay? If the day comes I cannot continue my current arrangement, I'm done cheffing.

Thanks so much

To the Starsider Chefs, what quality do you usually find on vendors and what quality are you looking for?

And thanks to everyone who replied so far

The few times I've seen additives on vendor they have been all over the board and quality and pricing. I would say I haven't seen enough BE vendors to get a good idea since I was a BE long before chef and therefore never shopped at BE shops.

The quality I make for myself is 82-89, average of 84/85. I run 150-200 crates of additives a week, so I am a meat hore and will take whatever I can get. I can still hit good numbers even with the lower stat additives and the food sales as well, so the lower number additives don't bother me.
