haha Sling...sorry I am getting carpal tunnel from loading factories every night






I have carpal tunnel syndrome and have had to have seven major surgeries to lessen the pain in small incriments even and have to take a non addictive pain releaver and they retarded surgeon asked if he could take pictures of my wrist as it was being slit open and my carpal tunnels being whatever the hell they are doing, and I even have the pictures on the internet but I won't totally disgust you with the scars and the stitches and the whole bloody procedure with clickies and my wrists still hurn

Since we're talking wish list here: This is something I've been thinking about since launch. Shoot it full of holes, I value constructive input more than I value my over inflated ego.



A manufacturing center.


Imagine if you will a building that combines storage *and* the ability to *insert* factories. How many real life factories do you know of that keep their raw materials in another building? Well, you know what I mean


Imagine a "building" that takes up say 3 lots at its base form. In this building you have the ability to fill it with "manufacturing stations", be they food, general item, clothing, whatever. Lets for example say the building has a maximum capacity of 10 lot usage since we're just spit balling here. Each additional "factory" installed would require the use of another lot just like it does now. The input hoppers and output hoppers would work the same or close to it. Power and maintenance would be drawn from a central pool not each individual factory. This power and maintenancewould "carry over" should you re-deed the building as it currently does with harvestors. It would require a bit more indepth programming for the control center but just think... the ability to have a storehouse and your factories in one place, not spread out across the countryside wherever you can find flat land for building. Just imagine how much "prettier" player cities would be without turning a corner and running into a squat, drab ugly factory sitting next to a pretty garden. And wow, the ability to have the input/output windows of more than one factory open at once... just for that. No more dumping inventory in yet another house just to fill up your character inventory and load a factory 10m away. I know this is a raw idea and would take a lot of polishing but dang, I'd re-up for a whole year on the spot if something like this would come to pass. Yeah, yeah, I know..... barrels and plates. Point taken. But still.....
