Well, since the quality of the metal / gemstone for the container wont matter, you could always buy that at grind ressource prices, 1.5-3cpu, instead of harvesting itself.

I pride myself in only using the best ressources for my food that i can find, which is why until now, i havent bought any ressources, only harvested myself, but when quality doesnt matter, why bother ...
