Thread: Vasarian Brandy best way to present it to the server after publish

I plan on running a 40 crate run in barrels as soon as publish is done... I'm gathering components atm, just wondering about something I saw a few days ago... did the filling get doubled on this? If so, I was hoping the TC chefs might be able to shed some light on what is the best way to expirement this out for barrel usage.

I have 11 experimentation pts to use, and I plan on getting a bio-e filling additive <medium right?>... damned Domesticated meat is still the bane of my existance! =(

Any help you TC chefs could offer.... with the BE additive AND with experimenting on the filling, is it possible to get it down to 33 or less or should I concentrate on the nutrition/duration instead?

Thanks in advance,

present it as the "too expensive to make underbuffing crap" that it is I guess

People still need an edge in PvP, no matter how big or small... if everyone will soon be using the same foods/drinks, then it'll still be a level playing field. And it's usually the PvP crowd that is buying my stuff.

Any help or suggestion from a TC chef would be more than appreciated!!! It's getting close to crunch time and I need to gather the dom meat if it is still the wisest course to use the filling reduction bio-e component.

Thanks a million,

Chef Opar

Is it even possible to do a 40crate run of Vasarian when you require 2 identical Trim for a cask which means you can only do a 500 crate run of Casks so just 20crates of Vasarian at a time. I dunno. It was a random thought and didnt feel like posting a new thread about it. This is the way it works with fishak sooo was just speaking my mind. I will do 20 pushups now.

You cant make a 40 crate run because it requires 2 identical alcohol so 19 full crates 1 broken crate is the maximum you can make.

40 alcohol + 20 container + (option: 20 additives) + 2 stacks of resources = 82/100 volume.

Aye, I'm aware of the limiting factor of the subs... but i'm getting all the resources together to make 40 crates of vasarian brandy in barrels... just as with the fishak you make 2 schems, use half of the resources and run both at same time in 2 factories, so 40 crates, 2 with a lesser count than 25 due to experimentation.

I'm just wondering if vasarian brandy is still worth while and if you can get the filling down to make it attractive to pvp'rs!

Aren't barrels still broken and only give the capacity of a small glass?

They said barrels will be fixed by the time it hits live. So come thursdays, we should have barrels.

How many servings of Brandy are you Test Center guys getting per stack with a small glass at the moment? Just interested to see what kind of stack sizes I can expect with the larger containers.

Thanks.

Small glasses are giving 6-7 doses before experimentation, I'm not sure what the max might be, since my TC character has very few experimentation points, and a high rate of failure.

Hmmm, interesting. I assume this is without BE additives too?

If barrels do come in at the suspected 5x size, I guess we could be looking at 40+ serving stacks. I don't really share the pessimistic views of some of the people here over Barrels and their resource costs. Sure they are a lot more hassle to make, but the benefits far outweigh the negatives IMO, especially when looking at BE additives.

Thanks for the info Kriles.

Well a run of Brandy is 40k for the food, 20k? for the alcohol.

The barrels will add 300k metal + 40-60k other materials for ME components.

If the barrel does indeed do 5x then it isn't too bad. The biggest issue with it that I have is there is no way I could keep up with Barrels. 8 harvs going during a week might get enough materials for 3 barrel runs. I then have to get all the organics. That is for 3 factory runs.

Will it be profitable? Yes. Each crate will go for 5x the price of a normal one.But if I have all my harvestors on minerals I can't harvest anything else for any of the other foods. If the crates stay on the vendor longer, there might be a chance. I don't plan on using Barrels except on BE food though at the start.

Maybe casks will be better value then for production, 150 gem 10inert 40fiberplast. But only 20 crate schematics. /shrug
