Thread: Poll: Would a 5% Resource Bonus be good for chefs?

Do I think it would be fair to the other profs? Nope. Especially artisan. Do I like the devs being reminded that our profession is more diverse and complicated than others? Nope, because I certainly don't think we should be invitiing the nerf bat our way to make things "easier" like they've done to other profs.
I don't think one specific profession should get a higher buffs than others just because it can "handle" it in the minds of some people.
Does it matter to me personally whether or not we get the 5% buff? Meh, kinda done caring either way.

Obviously thats up to them. But this asking on whether we would want one. Thats all.
Not commenting on the fairness of us only having one (as thats not what i'm really asking for) but frankly as the WS and AS communities have stated quite cleary they don't want it, and other have been half and half i don't see why the profs that would benefit from the extra % get left out because it would hurt others. The way the buffing system has been set up with each prof getting a seperate buff it makes sense that % can be tailored to the needs of each profession.
Bare in mind i'm not promising if i do ask for this, we'll get it, i just want to know if asking for it is what the community wants. After thats what my job is, to rely what the community as a whole is doing.
I don't know. I don't even get why artisans only get 1%. A lot of artisans that actually sell artisan items (except for foods) tend to be pretty new to the game. So how did this idea of "helping" noobs go to actually hurting them in a sense? I was against the 10% buff because it seemed unfair to me, but the 1% artisan buffs seems just as unfair in the other direction... /sigh. And yes I know artisan isn't an "elite" profession.
I think that asking for a higher buff for chefs is just opening another can of worms. All chefs will never agree. Then, on top of that, folks in other profs will be like HEY WHAT ABOUT US. So, dunno.
i think 5% is reasonable and it will help chef foods to get a step up on artisan foods.

It's Simple ~ YES 5% for Chefs, 4 Stats on resorces, whether it's icing on the cake or not, It seems alot harder these days to get icing on cake than it is to get on armour.
Chef vs Artisan food is a hot issue and should have been resolved before an issue of who gets better insperation buffs. IMO
I'm in favor of the 5% buff for Chefs also. I feel that the Devs need to do something to give Chefs an edge again.

WOOT 5% plus the million perfect resorces that eerif is going to talk the DEVs into giving all chefs might pull some of us out of retirement.

Lets see a 200% bonus on Chef Food Duration so thatit can compete, as the lower filling @ lower cost foods aredominating the market.
I think 5% would be good for us.
We mostly have 4 lines to experiment on ( 3 in a few cases ) which means I don't think we'll see anyone get 100% in all categories.
I think 5% would be a help, not a hindrance to chefs. I don't seefolks turning out perfect foods with 5% ( or even the original 10% the devs had put forth )
So lets lay it out. Should i suggest a 5% Resource buff for our Specific Ent buff, or should it be left at the blanket 2%?
