Well, there's that story going around about Vasarian Brandy originally being brewed in hiddendorm stills at a woman's college, but pesonally I think that's just an urban legend. Besides, where'd the extra 's' go?

Tranzen Pikatta was a humble baker in Mos Taika who deeply loved his work. He would spend hours at his ovens, trying out new combinations searching for a recipe to make him famous. However, he would often get so wrapped up in his work that he ended up neglecting his wife, Yersha. Yersha took to throwing household items at him whenever she wanted to get his attention.
Needless to say, this wasn't taken kindly by poor Tranzen. So he experimented with various foods, and came up with a mixture of fermented Bantha Butter, crushed wheat grains, and fruit pulp that had the effect of greatly increasing his reflexes. Every morning from then on, he'd bake up a pie and snack on that during the day, giving him theability to sidestepany flying objects sent towards him, remaining engrossed in his cooking.
Sadly, after only a few days of this, Yersha left Tranzen to become a biker babe with a local Swoop gang...

It increases ALL chances to dodge, not specific to fencer/pistoleer dodge. Go get some, you will thank us after

The way pikata pie wprks is it gives you a flat percentage chance to dodge and attack. SO it works for even people with no dodge skill modifier. If it had given you a +20 to dodge bonus, then it would only work when the dodge mod kicks in, IE when holding a pistol or fencer weapon.
Give it a shot. I know that I get hit much less when I'm on pikata pie than when I'm not using it.

This actually doesn't add to the dodge skill from pistoleer or fencer, it is just a straight defense mod that works for any profession, regardless of the weapon equipped. Someone posted that it adds to melee defense, and that is possible, I don't know for sure.
What I do know is that the moment this stuff runs out I start getting hit and taking damage, and while it is in effect I watch the misses roll by in the combat queue.

Has anyone tried using it in PvP against a tkm? Just wondering how it would work against a TKM because of their super high accuracy.
