Well my opinion is that you give the customers what they want. I do carry canape that is +708 33 fill for 10 minutes. It sells quite well. I carry 10 foods and it is my best seller in fact. I personally dont use canape. As a jedi i have more use for Thakitillo and synthsteak, but i dont have to worry about specails eating up my mind. Brandy suffices quite well in an emergency. I used to carry 600 enhance that lasted 15 minuts. If you took 1 your stomach would empty by the time it wore off. I was informed by several of my customers that they generally use the canape in an emergency situation similar to how i use brandy for the jedi. Power was of the utmost importance to them. So in an effort to achieve maximum power 33 filling is necessary. I always take the stance - Give the customer what they want.

personaly.. I get my canape to 33% because it blends well with my other foods.

So you can take one canape, and some synthsteak.. and possibly something else if you need to.

A 33 filling canape is better than a 38 canape because you can take 3 at once, or you can take 1 with a 67 vercupti, or you can take 2 plus a synthsteak or any of the other 25ish filling foods, or some other combination I haven't thought of.

But its easier just to say you can take 3 at once and assume everyone can figure out for themselves that 2 of those 3 could be replaced with something else. Like you mentioned, 33 is just a good number for mixing with other foods.

But if you don't care about fitting in other foods and just want the highest buff possible, 33 filling is still the way to go

I'd really like to know who is forcing you to eat 3 canapes at once Rgrocott. Canape, when made by a 12 point chef is only marginally better when you spend all your points on nutrition to max it. I think (and I could be completely wrong), the flexibility offered in 33% capape far outweights the minor loss in total nutrition. Also if there are far better things to put in your stomach for pvp, do it, I'm not forcing this this on anyone anymore than I'm forcing people to take up master doctor so they can use bivoli. If you want the maximum mind buff, 33% canape is the way to do it, I'll leave it to the buyer to decide when and how they do it.

I just offer a variety, higher buff higher filling or lower filling lower buff (33%) , I've actually had more sales of the higher potenecy stuff, like 39 filling if I recall. If it sells I'm happy I suppose heh, if people want a specific type of food and a targetted filling, I usually try to do customc rates but this has come up rarely.

Co'hen, it's not your job (or mine) to decide which foods our customers would be best off using. It's our job to sell the foods they want to buy, plain and simple. Sure, you can try to steer your customers towardsa what you believe are more valuable foods, but it's hardly the Chefs' fault that customers want 33 filling Canape. Under the "you'd be better off with a Synth or Thak" premise I initially didn't stock 33 fill Canape, but after repeated customer requests I started making it and it's now my best-selling food.

Besides, lower filling/higher duration Canape has a more common use than PvP... it comes much closer to being a sustainable buff at 33/10 minutes than at 40/10.

Driddo, Viwoh + Frowobed makes a btter additive. The Olen gets you to 88/118, Frowobed is 89/119 (this is from memory, not able to get ingame to check).

Serious PvPers buy double buff vercupti, and add 2000 or so to their HAM. Period. I sell tons of this stuff, but I also sell lots of triple dose canape for people who hunt.

I agree 100%. My alt, Alyosha, is a chef and I make all my canapes at 38 filling. They sell as fast as I can put them on my vendor. This character is a Master Rifleman, and I have found that some good brandy and 1 shot of Canapes over 700 and I can special as much as needed without losing any mind. I see no need to take more, so I have been a bit perplexed by the whole 33 filling craze. Just my opinion, and experience.

I'm confused, if one +700 canape is all you need, why is having the filling lower a detriment? It's really not too hard to get both 700+ and 33 fill. Yes the duration will be lower, but if you want duration ahrisa seems like a far better choice. Then again, I do freely admit I'm not an expert since I rarely participate in combat, I just make what sells.

you want oosemna (sp?) that recent yavin rice and viwoh will will make 88 and 118 Additives.. Olen will make 87 and 117.

I make the bulk of my Canape at 37fill that way you can take, one canape one ahrisa one steak, or 2 canape and a steak, or a canape, steak, aircake.. and so on... Chef is like tetris lol
