Lowca, 2 chefs on our whole server, both selling at outrageous prices to rip people off (because of no competition).

Solution: I have a friends account who quit and I want to get it to Mixology 2 in Chef ASAP to begin making Tat Sunburns. I go through these like candy, and I want to use both of my accounts to get resources and create these for me and a few of my friends.

Money - not a problem. I'm a BH, and I have sufficient cash, but I'm not spending 10 credits/resource on food that I could make myself.

Looking for advice ona fast route to level up a chef through the artisan tree, and then to Mixology 2 to start making Tat Sunburns. If I like chef, I might slowly move him to master, but for now I need these bad.

Can't really comment on whether or not you are being ripped of as you didn't mention what they were selling, at what prices, and at which level of experimentation.

People trying to sell Tatooine sunburns for around 900 credits a shot.

I have an extra account, I have cash, and I have some time... Was hoping to find the quickest way to get through the Artisan requirement for chef, and the quickest way to get up to the point of making Tatooine sunburns.

Experimentation means nothing. Crappiest tatooine sunburns not stacked will do me fine since I can hold extras in my house or on my chef.

I'm not sure whats the best exerience per resource thing out there for Artisan and novice chef

They may have a lower price for crappy Tatooine Sunburns if thats what your looking for... Did you ask them if theywould lower their price for unexperimented ones?

Why do you want crappy Tatooine Sunburns anyway? Its never occured to me before that people would want to buy un-experimented food; what are you using it for?

Well your the reason I want to make my own chef. Nothing in this game should be more than 3 or 4 credits per resource. Only reason I might pay 5 for chef food is since Factories are bugged and you can't output stacks with them.

But regardless, still looking for a real answer.

To get through Novice Artisan, what items should I powerlevel with

To get through Novice chef to Tatooine sunburns, what items should I powerlevel with.

Looking for things that don't have too many resources, but have decent xp. Will most likely buy most of my resources straight up.

Yeah, combat classes make OK money. But, crafters make more. Plus we have to buy your overpriced food, keep buying multiple weapons, buy new armor every month or so, etc.

Actually, the higher level bounty hunter missions actually cost money to do since you need to use so many droids.

Your view of life seems to be a bit skewed, Lowca...

Even on Starsider, which has gotten a reputation for cheap resources, base resource go from 3-7 credits per unit. Add in failures to try to make the perfect product and we have a COST of around 5-10 credits per unit. Become a chef, if you'd like, but realize, that you WILL be paying 5-10 credits per resource PLUS the countless hours (yes, that's hours not minutes - in fact, I've spent the last two days trying to put out a perfect biscuit, but I'm a perfectionist) for your sunburns. Or maybe, you can step back and realize that the price is not as much as you think.

Multiperson camps are great to dom arts IV. Then do starshine surprise and save 'em since you'll need them as components for sunburn (and I'm told quality of the surprise don't have a percievable effect so grind ones are ok - this true?). I guess backpacks are pretty good too, and you can sell 'em.

Wastril bread -70 exp each. Then in Mixology 1, Deuterium-pyro - 100 exp each.

As for non-experimented sunburn, I'm not planning on experimenting on chef stuff until I get at least cooking I (my next priority). Without it I have about a 50% chance of failing, yuck. If you want to make good sunburn you might want to level up in cooking line a bit.

(note: I might be wrong on pyro at 90 exp maybe? I did stewed gwouch grinding so I'm not positive, but you need entrees I for that).

Just curious -- are you saying the Tatoine Sunburns are being sold for 900 credits PER charge? Or 900 credits no matter how many charges?

I'm pretty sure you dont see how many charges an item has when purchasing (unless you examine maybe?).

900 per charge I see as steep.

Camps sound like a good idea. I'm able to farm hide and bone like nuts with my BH.

You examine to see charges and quality. Always examine what you purchase!
