Someone just did an auction on Chilastra and got 1M for one of those. I have one, it's a nice item and looks cool, too.

There's a looted schematic and you have to get heavy leather which is also loot dropped.
I hear Night sisters is the place to get it.

the schematic is areward from one of the jabba themepark missions
only a master tailor can craft it and it uses a crafting tool as an ingredient. the type of crafting tool determines the profession bonus - ie food crafting tool = chef bonus
anyway if you don't wanna pay 1 mil for an apron and your char has combat skills, here's an idea. the schematic is a limited use schematicthat has 3 charges so go do the themepark yourself andget the schematic. then find a master tailor and offer togive him the schematic for freeif he uses one of the charges to make you an apron. he gets 2 charges left to do whatever the hell he wants and you get your apron w/ the bonus

Just so people don't get the wrong idea.
The schematic takes a crafting tool. For chef you would use a food/chem crafting tool.
The probably is chef isn't the only bonus possible. Med exp is possibe. I would guess BE is not just because BE skill tapes don't exist. To my knowledge there is no guarentee which you will get, but you will get 3 of the same one(3 use schematic).

Its a crafter's apron. Depending on what stuff you decide to use, you can get chef, weapon, armor, etc.

Can I get a clarification of this statement please. Are you saying that I use the one schematic 3 times with the same crafting tool it will give the same output (A med apron, or a chef apron or...) for all 3 uses, or that each time you use those three, it is random what output you'll get?

Assuming I understand it. The 'crafters apron' schematic has 3 uses to it. Depending on which components you use will determine the finished product. Each finished product reduces the number of uses left on the schematic.

As I have not personally done the quest yet, I can't say with 100% certainty. However every person that has posted that they used a schematic has gotten the same type out for all 3 versions.
There was also a tailor with a little more detailed info that lead me to believe this idea. Check out the tailor forum for that.
