Hey guys,

I just thought I would give you all a heads up that food is bugged on the TC. I am letting the developers know, and continue to remind them, about this bug. This is the test center, so there is still time to fix it before it goes live. But I thought I would give you all advance warning of what I found:

I heard about food not working properly on the test center. so I did some experimenting.

My original stats were

Health 600/600

Strenght 300/300

Constitution 300/300

Action 1098/1100 (2 pt wound)

Quickness 700/700

Stamina 400/400

Mind 998/1000 (2 pt wound)

Focus 500/500

Willpower 500/500

Now, I had some aircake with the following stats:

Health 23/16s

Strength 23/12s

Constitution 23/16s

Action 119/227s

Quickness 23/16s

Stanima 23/16s

Mind 21/16s

Focus 23/16s

Willpower 23/16s.

Now, while the aircake was in effect, everything looked good. But when the aircake wor off, some of my stats went down

Constitution 277/300

Willpower 477/500

Now, these stats stayed like that until I suicide. Even logging off for 15 minutes did not raise the stats off.

I tried some exo wafers with the following stats

Constitution 84/148s

Willpoer 83/148s

Now, again, while the buffs were in effect, everything was fine. But once they wore off...I had this:

Constitution 300/300

Willpower 417/500

And then....I tried some Caf.

Con -11/199s

Action 49/255s

Quickness 49/199s

Focus 90/225s

All ok during the buff, but afterwards it went down to:

Constitution 289 (the penalty never wore off)

Focus 320/500

Again, the only way that I could find to get things completely back to normaly was by dying. And this is only on the test center. I tried this stuff on Starsider and everything worked fine.

Great.

6-7 weeks for the stacks to be fixed, and now this.

I'm praying this is fixed before patch day, if not, I give up on chef.

Great, another Chef problem. I don't know how you stay so dedicated after all of this Vimes. Kudos to you, you're a better man than I.

-edit- Would be master chef that is. Apparently the devs don't really care about fixing the fact that our products are pretty well broken.

So I guess that should read..
- Sembel Ritari, Idiot who wasted weeks to flush 92 skill points down the drain and is now too stubborn to give up all that work and try something else.

Oh this is depressing. My sales have dropped by 70% due to the various food bugs currently in game. Now with more bugs coming in, who will continue to purchase food.... I'm praying this is resolved shortly.

Ya, this means I'll be running missions to pay for all of my structures for the next two months while they ignore Vimes over and over again on this bug.

SirVimes thanks for the info but this is truely depressing. If this comes to pass, I may close shop and play another class on some otherserverwhile my food sits in inventroy somewhere. At least it doesnt decay ... or maybe we will leave that for a future bug.

If the chef profession is not an integral part of the SWG experience and not important enough to have basic functionality then SWG should suspend the dam class. Not punish the people who chose to play that profession with neglect.

Well, there is some good news. I just tried tatooine sunburn and that is not bugged. (Although a friend told me starshine suprise is.)

Thank you very much SirVimes for your continued dedication and helpfulness. Sorry to hear about yet another possible upcoming Chef bug, but at least you told us! LOL. Guess Air Cake sales will go through the roof? Let's hope so...

What is really sad is that this bug WILL go live because the Devs just don't care and they don't want to hear what the chefs have to say.
