Thread: No Vertical Movements In Cantias: Need Your Help

Ok, a lot of people have said they cannot move things vertically in cantinas...while other people say they can. We need your help in figuring out what is going on here. What the CSR guys need from you is specific examples, with server/planet/loc where this is an issue and a detailed description of the problems/quirks for each loc.

Small Glasses and Pastebread in my Cantina on Tatooine have never worked for up, but it has for down.

works fine in my cantina, corellian style. I have small glasses on the shelf (almost)

I can't move anything up in my Corellia-style cantina on Talus in the Tarquinas server.


I can move things down, forward and back but not up.


I have tried several items, and even tried picking them up and placing them back down again in case that made a difference, but no dice.

/move up down forward back all work, except when trying to place something on the shelves behind the bar, or on top of the bar. I guess there's a vertical "No placement zone" for both of those areas.


Tarquinas, Dantoooine, Avatar City (5k west of the pirate/aggro outpost).

Yeah, it seems they either didn't spend much time on the collision boxes... or added them to make sure that people didn't make their cantinas look good.


Oh and: Up and down work fine on my Corellian style on Ahazi... haven't tried it on the lowest part of the cantina (i've heard a lot of complaints that there was another invisible wall down in the stage pit).

/move up <#> and /move down <#> both worked fine in my Naboo cantina, for me (the owner) and others on admin.

Have moved things both up and down in naboo cantina.


However have noticed only front part of shelfs behind bar are u able to display drinks

You cannot display drinks on the bar itself . Correspondent please put this on wish list.


Also noticed that the drinks that normally float when dropped cannot be lowered any further than their float level


Food on tables looks great on the dance floor area in front of the stage.


Even made some R2-D2 waiters.If u like to see them come to NewPerdition town Scylla Dantioone

If you have an 'up'hoster chair in your cantina, it won't work. Here is the work around, say you want to move a candle up. Target the candle and /move Candle up 100. If you just do /move up 100 it thinks you want to move a chair, not a candle.

It is not limited to Cantinas.


I have a medium Tatooine house I use as a bar and lounge. There are upholstered chairs near the 'stage' (the 'pit'). I tried to move candles up last night and was told that I have to use '/moveFurniture <FORWARD/BACK/UP/DOWN> <DISTANCE>'. Bleh, now I know why... it may be the damn chairs!

/move (itemname) up 1000


works, where just /move up 100 didn't.


hehe our clone center is borked too, but in a different way.
