Some nice initial info, thank you for the effort.

Will be interesting when the food listing will be implemented, and what if any changes there will be to the buffs.

And Chef will go up on the frogs at some point. I can't see much need in testing the leveling process as crafting xp will be uneffected, but if i hear of any problems i'll try grinding it myself.

Ok, i've done some tests so far while hunting and i've noticed some extra info as well:

Foods like Teltier Noodles (action buff) and Blob Candy (action buff also) cannot be combined to make a bigger buff. From what i've crafted so far, it seems the noodles are a higher buff. (Two foods that do the same thing that you can't take at the same time seems odd)

The crispic (general melee & range accuracy)seems like it's more on the # of attacks then time duration.

I don't know about everyone else, but the Bacta heal seems very random (between 200-400). With Aitha, there's a noticable difference in the heal efficiency (There was a more even heal. I'd say 300-350 most times).

The Ruby Bliel does help a lot with the speed of stimming. I would say it's about 2-3 seconds faster roughly between stims now when taken.

I didn't test the duration of the food/drinks officially, but the Ruby Bliel/Aitha/Teltier Noodles/Blob Candy/Bofa Treats lasted for at least2-4 missions without having to reapply them. The duration has been pretty decent!

I can't see what BE suppliments can do to make these buffs better, but from what i'm using right now, they're very nice staples right now.

Excellent work! Thank you very very much for documenting this. I was going to start tomorrow on testing, and its good to know there are already so many that are working very diligently on it.

I salute all of you. And I agree...I cant wait until the character builders and/or skill unlock comes.

Curious... since there is really no HAM... how can you make an action buff? (I can't get into TC yet... so please don't flame me)

There is still HAM.
You still have Health, action and Mind.
But only Health gets damaged.
Action is used for combat specials.
Mind is used for heals and stuff.

So an action buff will let you do more specials, while a healthbuff will let you stand longer and a Mind buff allows a Doc to heal more (as examples)

I have used all of the foods available on TC-5. Since there are no advanced trainers available, I could only try out the artisan foods but here is what I have found out so far:

Food

Blob candy--Action buff

Bofa treat--Strength buff

Caramelized pkneb--Cure efficiency +stat modifier

Crispic--General melee accuracy/General ranged accuracy +stat modifier(s)

Dustcrepe--Could not eat (maybe is still a dot modifier, I had no dot at the time)

Exo-protein wafers--Says it makes you feel like you can shrug off more damage than usual

K-18 rations--Unknown (I get the message "you run as hard as you can" so I believe it is still used for burstrun)

Kanali wafers--Health and strength buff

Teltier noodles--Action buff

Travel biscuits--Health buff/terrain negotiation +stat modifier

Drinks

Aitha--Healing efficiency +stat modifier

Caf--Health and stamina buff

Jaar--Cannot drink (I gave one to a wookiee to drink and he could not drink it either. The description still says it is favored by wookiees.)

Jawa beer--Maskscent +stat modifier

Ruby bliel--Allows you to use stimpacks more often than normal

Spiced tea--Stamina buff

Starshine surprise--Incap recovery time reduction

I noticed that when I made some of the foods, I could not experiment on them while on others I could experiment in the normal way. I didn't write down which ones had problems since I didn't know if it was a crafting bug or a bug specific to those foods. Also, I was under the impression that some of our health bars were going away but they are clearly there and can be increased with food. I look forward to having a chef trainer to try out the other foods, but I don’t look forward to grinding out chef again.

Something that needs testing:

Last night I made a Ruby Bliel with water in the 900's OQ and DR, fruit that was 800's or better in all but OQ which was 300's. My Nutrition and Flavor experiment lines were very short, maxing short of 50%. OQ is a small factor in foods, so I'm belatedly wondering if having no PE or FL in the water had caused them to be treated as zero instead of ignored.

I cant wait to see the higher level chef foods. I just hope they let everyone test this out for 6 months considering its an entirely new game...

If by 6 months you mean 1 month or less, then yes, since it's supposed to come out at the same time as RotW on May 5th, last I heard.
