Thread: How do you REALLY feel about recipes being re-balanced?

let's say that you are at Mix II and can make tatooine sunburns. What if they rebalance the recipes and you can no longer make tatooine sunburns...you need Mix IV to do that. Instead you are given new recipes that require different resources.

How would you feel about that?

I say, that's fine. If that's what it takes to get a decent revision, then yes.

Low leveled chefs shoudlnt' have access to this drink anyway, it only requires cerials and reactive gas,and minerals...how much more general can you get! (cept for gas, but it has many other uses)

Well, at least if they DO update the whole tree that is, i don't want to see useless stuff at lower level tiers like it is now

I am more afriad of them removing the Tatoonie sunburn or fixing the read me file that had too many 0's placed in it..

Who knows though maybe they will make all level 2 buffs that good and make level 4 and master buffs double that

As long as they don't revise it real soon, I woudn't care, I just don't wanna have a bunch of useless resources.

I honestly believe tat sunburn should NOT be in Mix II, and I have said the same all along.

I'm a master, so it won't affect me that much, but the entire list needs a total reorganisation.

I feel that having Tatooine Sunburn at Mixology II is not a bad thing.

It helped me make money to survive (paying for maintenance, training, as well as buying some nice clothes, weapons, house, funiture, etc.)

If it were not for the Tatooine Sunburn, I definietly would not have the funds to even train to aquire my Master Chef status. I had to train for every chef skill from an NPC (total training cast was 130,000 credits)

It is goodfor the casual chefs who do not wish to aquire the whole tree. They can still have some benefits for their investment.

I dont mind if they move it as long as they improve foods so lower level chefs aren't stuck making even more crap until they reach the 4th level tiers.

What they should do is just leave all the recipes where they are, but change the effects of them. Leave Tatoonie Sunburn where it is, but nerf it down a bit, while making the higher foods much better. This way it doesn't affect any of the chefs from being able to make foods for where they currently are in the tree. We would have to re-experiment with all the foods to see what new effects they all have, but I feel this is a much smaller sacrifice that the alternative.

Also, they should add many more foods that effect other things besides the HAM bars.

Good point, Id LOVE to see some foods that say, give defence to dizzy for x seconds etc.

I wonder how realistically that could be added without destabilising PvP ?

What I would really like to see is that lower level foods give good HAM and secondary stat buffs, and higher level foods give skill bonuses.

HEY!... You stole that from my post!

Hehehehe Just kidding SV.... But YES! Why do we need 6-7 recipies that have almost IDENTICLE buffs when there are so many untouched skills and other attributes to buff?

ON TOPIC: I don't think the highest XP grinding item, and most sellable item should be in MIX II.... Where is this graduated XP they talked about where the higher you got the more important useage would be? Another thing that they were gonna do that turned me on to this game that they backed out on?

Another food issue is the number or materials required in food... Drop the materials needed and drop the cost of food... This will increase the USE of food and the usefulness of our profession...
