Thread: Does Smuggler's Delight work or not?

I've seen a number of people say Smugglers delight doesn't work *period*. Are there any instances of it working for anyone? I would like this (rumour?) proved or disproved.

Thanks

Well after like 10 hours no one has stood up and said yes.. Doesn't look promising. Luckily I saw people's replies stating that it didn't work. I was about to start a factory run of the stuff..

True, but that may not mean it doesnt work... Probably most people just dont know. From what I can tell, most Chefs are worried with their Vasarian Brandy more than anything.

People may be thinking it doesnt work when it does though. Because it lowers the downer time by 50%. Its still 1 minute of downtime. And the spice users might think its supposed to stop the down time completly.

I made three crates of enhanced smugglers delight last night with 91% spice downtime reduction....

I'll get some of the guild to give it a try later before i consider selling it

Kind Regards,

Snitch tested the blue milk with muon. Downer was not one bit shorter in duration.

Blue milk doesn't help downer...

My run of 100% redux better work. Thats alot of milk and meat down the drain.

Even though I'm not a chef, tried it out last night to test it.

The icon vanished when my moun ran out, but the effects of the downer hit me and stayed the full duration. I was using some made by 'zeta' which has a 97% downtime reduction. I was still down for approximately 4 minutes even though there was no indicator.

I also tried out some Bespin Port which has a 10 bonus to experimentation. Nothing changed at all. Still had same results with success/failures and no increase in experimentation.

Man, you'd think that when the Devs were revamping the Chef proffession they would have actually tested out the new foods. I mean, how hard would it have been to make 1 of each food on one of the internal test servers and then verify that it actually worked? And heck, its not even worth complaining about. Since chef's supposedly just got some massive lovin', I'm sure the Devs are going to now put any chef problems on the back burner, i.e., 6-8 month waiting list.
