Still confused, its consistently at 6 seconds now. Maybe I'm just dumb.

Final product was 92 recovery with 21 fill. I have no idea how to price this stuff. LoL

Actually, 6s is correct for 89 bonus Parwan.

A burst run is made of two parts: the time bursting, and the time spent "tired". For a non-buffed player, the time is 1 minute bursting, and 9 minutes tired. There are some "burst run efficiency" gained in Scout Exploration, but I'm not sure if those effect burst run recovery, or just HAM usage.

Parwan does it's calculation using the full 10m duration. So an 89 bonus parwan means it knocks off 8m54s (600s * 0.89) from that total. This puts you at 1m6s, the first minute of that is spent bursting, with 6s of tired time.

And did you say 21 fill? That's really good, since you'd be able to use it 5 times before getting full. With a regular burst run on the end of that, a customer would get 6m of burst speed out of that stuff. The last time I did a run of Parwan, my additives were a little low, so I couldn't really get below 25. I'd price it around 125k, although maybe check around other chef vendors to see what your particular server's pricing is like.

Yeah, I went shopping around for this stuff just now.. the ONLY place I saw that had it was +93 with a 24 fill at 225k per crate! My word thats expensive...

I've given out a few samples to the people I thought could benifit from it (ie: Ranged BH), and hopefully they'll report back to me on how useful the stuff is. For now though, its priced at 200k/crate for lack of better price ranges. I sell my food pretty cheap already though for my server.

it depends on server economy.

I price my parwan at 200k/crate. 93 recovery at 21% fill. It sadly caps at 21% fill on the resources which annoys me quite badly, as i could easily get it to 20% if the resources wasn't capped....

So I read you need the Recovery Decrease to 90 + to make itinfinite. Well... I made some 89, and decided I'd just go burst run around a little because I was bored, figured the 10 seconds of "You are tired" wouldn't be bad for just screwin around. Anyways.. I eat the stuff, start running around, and and 33 seconds later, I get the "You are no longer tired message".... this being on 89 stat stuff. At the end, I burst run immediately.

So whats the deal?

Parwan is a very flaky food, it seems to work well then decides not to work for no apparent reason.

Also did you take the food after you'd burst run? If not it may being doing something to the timer, basically recovering from 0 taking you into a -tiredness. Thought i'm sure sciguy will come blind us with the math in a minute or 2.

LoL.. yeah, well I decided to eat the same stuff again, and THIS time it was "No Longer Tired" 6 seconds after the burst run ended..... wierd stuff.

I got nothin'.

Did you test this with timestamps turned on? The answer'sprobably yes due to the numeric precision, but figured I'd double check.

I can't figure any way to reconcile the "no longer tired" after 33s of burst running. I suppose a 95 or 96 bonus parwan would do it, but no way with 89.

My only guesses would be either:

  1. Some client/server lag screwed up the tired duration calculation.

  2. Higginsis's "Parawn is a very flaky food" theory.

21 Fill still allows for using 5 Parwans in a row, because you're not stacking them all at once.

You start out empty, and eat a Parwan. A minute later you eat a second, a minute later you eat a third, and a minute later you eat a fourth. A minute later, you want a fifth. You've eaten a total of 84 filling, but have digested 4m worth of filling out of your food stomach. That's roughly 8 filling with the 45m stomach (13 filling with a 30m stomach). So you're actually at 76 filling (71 after the next publish), which means you have room for a fifth Parwan.

After the digestion change, it looks like you'd be able to keep up a constant Parwan buff with 22 filling. You eat 88 filling worth in 4 minutes, digest 13 putting you 75, which is enough room for a fifth.

looks like you where at my vendor With the current bugs with harvesting milk (warping, flying, running craetures) i dont see me selling it at a lower price. Especially compared to how fast my pikatta pie sells, witch i use most my milk for.

I know... but you try to get the average customer to see that..

Our foods is just as much about apperances as the actual benefits of the foods. If it looks good in the eyes of the customer, they buy it. They look at it and say 21% = 4 uses, 20% = 5 uses... not thinking about what you just wrote.

That the reason for me wanting 20% fill

Heheh.. Yep.. actually your vendor is the first one I go to look at when it comes to prices. Our stats seem to be very comparable. (Our Ahrisa has the same exact stats... well HAD, but I used lesser BE additives this time). The only difference is you have a much better vendor location than I do so your prices can be a tad bit higher. Making people go to Talus is like telling them to go to the dentist for fun.
