2. I am using the base numbers from SciGuyCO's chart, yes. If you have a better source of base stats, I'd love to hear about it so I can make this more accurate.
It actually got me calculating how much it really costs me to make certain foods/drinks.
Great!
Bhilbo, I like this sheet. Thanks for the work ![]()
Can I request a way to make the "factory cost per item" link to the type of item you have selected in the drop down menu? cause my factory costs vary depending on the number of seconds/item i.e. the complexity of the schematic and on the fact that I have effeciency IV in merchant that drops my rent 80%.

So it there a way in excel to link the drop down to a number that changes the 40sec/unit to 24 or 48, or 32 or whatever depending on (and linked to) whatever food/drink you choose?
Yes, that's possible and a very good idea. Any suggestions on where I might find out these figures? I'd need to know complexity for each item and how that translates into factory production time. With those two things I should have most of the data I need for the factory calc.
Well, the food chart I did that you took the info from (wow, I never realized it'd get this much use) has a "complexity" column for each food, you'll probably have to scroll a bit to the right to see it, though. The factory time for an item is 8seconds * complexity. So BoH has a complexity of 15, each stack takes 120s to finish. Carbosyrup has a complexity of 3, so it takes 24s. So the factory "cost" would be:
50 credits/hr * complexity * 8s*(1 hr /3600s )
50 power/hr * complexity * 8s*(1 hr /3600s )
This might need a power cpu box, although at least for most vendors I've seen it does tend to work out to 1 credit per "power unit" (which takes PE into consideration).

This probably won't work out to a lot (it's like 1/10th of a credit per complexity), although if you also added a "cost per crate" box it'd probably be noticebale there.
Did I mention this is one of the coolest things I've seen? I've spent a lot of time just playing with numbers, and it's making me consider dropping my BoH prices.
