Thread: Where do you find Milk?
Hello everyone, I'm a starting out novice chef on Radiant. I saw that Jaarand one other recipe require milk as a recipe. I've heard that this is foraged but I haven't had any success with that.
And for Soypro, what is the biological component needed for the optional 'additive' slot?
I don't think Milk is foraged because foraged items don't stack and the slots that are needed for the recipes require 5 or more stacked. Any ideas or successes?
Thanks for your time!

Apparently you can get one from NPCs, but it's INCREDIBLY rare and I've never heard of more that two in any one place. And the biological component, I believe, can be made by a Bio-Engineer.
I currently own a HUGE stockpile of 6 milk... I'm still saving it for making something really cool that will be a one of a kind to keep as a trophy
So where did you get your milk then?
Anyone have any fishing tips too?
Thanks again
Besides critical failures, I also love when it says your experiment was a "Great Success" yet all the buffs on it reduce. Or when it says your experiment was a "Failure" but all the buffs remain the same.
It would seem logically to me that Bio-Engineer's or Creature handlers could harvest milk or eggs from pets of theirs, which could then be sold to whoever. Having it added to the flora survey tool would be much more convienent for us, but it wouldn't make much sense (or foraging for it also). Some guy randomly walks around collecting milk from the ground?? Rrright. Either that or give us NPCs to buy ingredients from like in EQ. You couldn't find the basic ingredients for brewing anything in EQ. You basically just bought a ton of malt, hops, barley and whatever else from a NPC merchant.
'Gig' missions like for the entertainers would also be a welcome addition for us. Perhaps for Jabba the Hutt? I wouldn't know if theres anything like that already around, I haven't made it to tatooine yet. I remember reading Tales from Jabba's Palace and one story was about Jabba's chef.
Still looking for specific instructions for getting milk. Thanks for the feedback! =)
