great stupid forums

ok i have been a masterchef for 2 weeks now i got 1 shop 4 factories and i cant keep up first off the factories take entirely to long to make the components (about the same amount of time it takes to make the finished product. lots 10 lots is just not enough for a chef. there is no way anyone can get all the water fruit corn wheat and vegitables it takes to make the food not to mention you have to go to every planet to survey the exact same thing. its very irriating to me so i am dropping master chef i dont think i will ever craft again lol. its not possible to get good meat or hidesince every other crafter seems to need and alot of it. well anyway i salute you chefs i couldnt hack it i am glad someone can.

You need combat personalities to let you use their lots. You need 3 factories, 3 of each harvester (at least) and a lot of free time. I still haven't mastered it.

I've been blessed with getting an organics dealer, so I no longer need to blow my lots on harvesters (you can't imagine how happy that makes me). 3 stores and 6 factories, 3-4 factories running aludium non-stop. I keep getting offers for franchising in various player cities, and I can't imagine doing that for people (I would need to double my factories and quit my rl job!)

I spend about 10 minutes every day going through my crate inventory. It really helps me with my priorities. For my silly aludium friends (BoH, Ryshcate, Fishak), I have factories dedicated to them until I reach 50 crates of inventory, then I can breathe and attack another food. I think my problem is that I sell too many food types. But it is oddly invigorating.

Im a master chef who owns a cantina. Im left with 5 slots for harvestors and factories. So I had some friends put out my 3 factories and power gens. This left me with 5 slots for harvestors...which I only use the biggest harvestors credits can buy. I limit myself to a few popular chef items and I focus on making the best of those items and I always keep them in stock. Irun a vendor in my cantina, a houseoutside Bestine, and a tent vendor in my city. Itstakes a lot oftime but if you try to be the chef that carriesALL theitems then you will fall behind. Just carry whatpeople want....

Well currently i have 3 heavy floras running i also have a cafe (2 lot medium naboo) and a Player city cantina (5 lots)

I had a friend in my guild place my 3 factories and another friend gave me a lot to place a small round for a storage house.

Even with all that i had to Up my prices and stop taking any bulk or custom orders just to be able to keep up with demand.

But then again im now sitting on 9 million credits and counting.

It can be hard. As more people learn about us, the demand will grow, despite the number of chefs growing. On Radiant, a handful of us have been referring customers back and forth to help ease the demand on any one chef. While I would love to soak up more market share, I simply could not keep up.

Presently, I run 5 factories (they are all going now with subcomponents). I have4 vendors up (which reminds me that I need to modify my signature), 2 food and 2 med presently, all of whom keep me very busy. I am adding another food vendor soon too...YIKES!

I also do most of my own harvesting, I get my own meat and am currently upgrading all my medium harvesters to larges (although I do have a handful of 10 rate mediums for non-flora). Right now I'm pulling up a 995 OQ oat with 3 heavies hoping to get enough to last a month...heh not likely. I've got 2 mediums (10 rate) pulling up 899 OQ wheat (fallback)...(still have a huge stockpile of the 99x OQ 99x PE that was on Radiant a few weeks ago...but the bottom line is that it is hard...

I enjoy it immensely...but sometimes it does feel like work.

All I can say is that if you don't enjoy it...its not worth the effort.

I've strictly limited my market and menu. I don't try to be a chef for all people.I still have a difficult time keeping Fishak and BoH stocked. I've taken to buying resources - 'specially the metal needed to make any alcohol.

And I send a number of 'I can't do that right now' tells, with suggestionsof other Chilastra chefs.
