Thread: Mastering Chef?
My third Holocron just told me to become a Master Chef. So whats the best way to grind through Master Chef? Like what crafted item will give me the best exp? Also, how much resources will I need to stock up?
Thanks ![]()
Always a jerk in the crowd somewhere, go troll somewhere else please.

No, you are prolly the 100th plus person to ask this question. Instead of using the search feature in the board, you would like us to. Please do your own research. For it will help you much more in the long run.
at the time this post was made there FOUR yes FOUR threads asking this question on the front page. There is a faq at the top of the page the very first thing you see.
I may be a jerk but you sir are lazy, disrepectul, demanding and obviously think us chefs are supposed to bow to your almighty holocron or something. Most people that play are able to read a FAQ. Chefs dont come here to tell all you hologrinders how to skill up cause you are too lazy to read. This is a forum for discussing chef issues, not a broken record. Just exactly how many times a day do you think us 30 chefs have to answer your questions cause you are so lazy you cant be bothered to read ONE POST.
Im a troll? No Im a chef. Im not a slave. Some people are just stupid tho.
Any chef here will be glad to help if you show enough respect to at least read the faq and hopefully a couple of posts. Instead you come here and expect us to write the crap out 5 times a day. You can kiss myveghash.
People are being a lil bitter towards this...I don't think he was being disrespectful just mearly asking a question...sometimes it's hard to find something on these boards because they move so fast...or not knowing where exactly where to look...instead of bashing someone or disrespecting them, try giving that person a few pointers, where to look or what to look for.
I've repeated myself a number of times,in-game or outside of game...but I still like to help if I know something about what it is their looking for.
So what you are saying is that we cant expect people to find the very first post on the board? the one that stays very first? And the only reason he got bashed was for calling me a troll when I tried to point out that he could just read a little and he would know. Im sorry but this board will be nothing but a useless board of muck if this question pops up 5 times a day every day. The VERY first thing you should do when you go to a board is read the posts that have been stickied at the top. And so far EVERY profession board Ive poked my head into has a FAQ stickied right at the top. But yet every board is plastered with these questions asking for what is in the faq. To the point were no one that actually has something worthwhile to say about the profession can find anything because there is a bunch of useless help me I wont read posts. When the same question takes up about 30% of your board space on a daily basis...when the answer is the very first thing on the board. There is something wrong. Maybe we should just sticky all of the chef related posts that this forum is for so that *we* can find them. I mean come on its the VERY FIRST THING YOU SEE.Every profession is going through it. Why becuase the same exact people hop from holo career to holo career and do the exact same thing. Dont want to waste 5 mins of their valuable time, instead waste 10 of someone elses x 5 per day.
If this board is going to be nothing but 1000 posts explaining how to grind this profession, whats the point of coming here? Maybe there should be a holocron followers board with all the faqs posted in one spot. Course since most of them dont read, theyd probably not find it unless their holocron told them where it was.
Wait, wait, I've got the perfect solution:
Any chef will answer any and all questions posed by those chasing a holocron's orders clearly, succinctly, and correctly....
....
....
....
....
for the price of one holocron.
Waypoint to my vendor is in the sig, put it up as an offer for 1 credit, and my wisdom is yours. Anyone else with me?

Do you realize how fast posts move on these forums? He may not have seen these four other posts your talking about, and yes there is a FAQ. Maybe he didn't see it? Ever think of that?
It isn't very hard to take a couple seconds to answer his VERY simple question. Yet you took a couple of second to troll his post, and act like a jerk as he said before.
No where in his first post was he disrespectful or demanding, nor do I get the impression that he thinks *US* Chefs are here to bow down to his almighty holocron. YOU need to get a life and stop trolling around peoples posts, if your NOT going to help someone, then don't bother responding to their posts with smart arse comments, just ignore it.
Kargos, I sent you a private message on how to get yourself started, and how to grind through to Master Chef. Good luck on becoming a Jedi. ![]()

Ahh but I do.
But really I don't think he was intending anything personal against the poster. It is just when you see day in and say out people who will post and then search, instead of search and they post. See if he had come and said "I am sorry, but I have not been able to find these anwsers.." then it should have not been a problem.
Well, everyone is intitled to their opinion, so let's all just exit this thread cause we ain't changing any minds here.![]()

Do you realize how slow posts move on this forum? Take a look, go ahead. Bottom post from 2 DAYS ago on the first page. The information is on this page in at least 3 places.
You, sir, have nowhere to talk. Just go away.
OK This looks like it could be a touchy subject but...
I definitely don't think Nikki is a troll, just from reading the number of other helpful posts with regards to Chef by you.
Yes, the response was definitely harsh, but also understandable. The first thing I do whenever I have a question about a certain profession ... like lets say I wanted to know something about buying a droid ... I check the FAQ (if there is one) for that profession. If the question I need is not in the FAQ, then I'll usually post something like, "Sorry, I didn't see this answered in your FAQ, but I need to know why my droid customization keeps fading..." (on some things I would even do a search first).
I think if somebody phrases the question in a polite manner, they get a polite response. I have seen several holochefs who, even though they came in asking questions that are already answered on the FAQ, got a polite response because they asked nicely.
Those who come in and say, "I need to master chef ASAP plz help!" are going to get the rude responses and one-stars.
IRL I am a computer technician with multiple Microsoft certification. If somebody who didn't know much about computers came up to me and said "I want to be a MCSE so I can put it on my resume, but I don't want to have to work very hard. Whats the quickest way to pass (a certain test)?" ... I might be a little rude in my response, too. I've been working on building my skills for years, and here comes someone who just wants to "get it over with" as quickly as possible.
And, as far as the one-stars go, perhaps we should NOT one-star posts like these, if for no other reason than the default forum settings HIDE all one-star posts, so many times new posters who don't bother to read the FAQ also won't even see the other similar posts, because thosts posts are hidden from them.
In any case, let me say....
"We be nice to hobbitses, if they be nice to us..." (Gollum)
