Thread: Chef: FOTM
I have noticed that on ahazi everyone is picking up chef as their crafting profession....
I relized that other crafting profession are difficult atm due to ADKs and looted stuff killing off sales. Maybe its selfish of me but I really did like chef not being so popular, so that anyone who became one was in it to make food, instead of money.
Anyone else seen a large influx of chef lately?

Nope.
All the fly by night chefs last no time at all. I have seen a hundred come and go.
I dont even pay attention anymore.
There isfour kinds of chefs:
1) Those who craft for their guild/friends only
2) Dabblers (They make and sell some food, just never take it very serious)
3) Cash Kiddies (These are the people who /respec their alt chef thinking its a get rich craft. They last a little while, spend the money they make on gear for their mains, then dont want to be bothered with the responsibility anymore and their shop closes)
4) Lifers. These are the chefs with the big retail stores that love the profession. They have been a chef a long time and prolly will be until they quit. Every server has them, and most of them post on these forums.

I'm 1, and 2, with ambitions of avoiding 3, and becoming 4.
I'm #4 for sure.
I started out as #1 and #2 but became more and more engulfed in the crafting world. With all the bugs and hacks in the game, pvp became senseless. And then they killed the good loot so pve is too. Chef has been my passion for a while now until they fix the game.

I'm # 1 & 4, been around for a little while, started Chef b/c my guild at the time needed one, and loved it ever since ![]()
