Thread: CARBINEER's need a stun weapon armor is over powered each class needs a way to go past it read in
personally, i don't think we need one. 90% resist composite is either rare as hell, or has way way way way high encumberences, and frankly thats not the most brilliant of tradeoffs.
I fight people wearing adv comp all the time... and i usually win.
Every combat class should have access toa Stun weapon, but at Master only. If anything the lower the potential DPS (of the class)the greater the need for a Stun weapon. Unless each class has something unique and as good as powerboost/meditate, though if that were going to happen it already would have, then the disparity between professions needs to be small.
Of course they could get around this by making Stun just the same as other armor layers, which wouldn't surprise me now I've bought 2 full advanced sets of composit with Stun protection throughout and 7 spare helms for that headache riflemen like dishing out.
Still I do believe the only way to play this game is to choose your template and learn to use it as things change around so often from one attempted 'fix' to another. Eventually one of the half thought out untested 'balances' will work (law of averages says so) and we will all know where we stand and what template we need to be able to fulfill our desired roles in game.
You really want Teras Kasi Masters running around with a stun weapon?
true they do need another gun that isnt Acid / Energy,
Pistol and Rifle have other damage types in their arsenal, but carbineer is just Energy / Acid it seems
/sign, but only for one reason...as it stands now, we can only do 3 types of dmg, and i think we need at least a 4th type to our arsenal, since what we can actually deal with is very limited right now-
