Thread: Master Carbine + Master Bounty Hunter

In the Bounty Hunter profession there are four slots that add to the carbineer stats. will getting those stats and the +10 Acuracy on Master Bounty Hunter do much of an improvement to the Carbineer Profession?
and how many of you guys go through the master bounty hunter prof to be the best possible carbineer?

I'm MBH + some carbineer. I get sprayshot and the +10 accuracy from that master box, but the rest of BH is dead weight in terms of skillpoints if you only use carbines. You could go Mcarbineer 3400 BH which is the best carbine template, but going MBH with some carbineer and some pistoleer your a little more versitle with eyeshot and geo pistol which is the only way to deal significant damage in PvP. Sprayshot is a great attack, and the only thing I'm missing from Carbineer is the accuracy while moving, burstshot2, and the broken defenses. If they ever nerf stun damage and make it so other dmg types stand a chance, I'm going back to Mcarbineer + 3400 BH so fast...

Well the Investigation tree in BH does nothing for the template......so 0400 BH is the match to Master Carbineer. 
I haven't tried it, but I think a non-master BH and non-master Carbineer template is probably best. Master Carbineer + 0400 BH is actually more Speed than you need, so some Carbineer could be dropped to pickup other skills. Take a look at 3434 Carbineer + 0300 BH + 0040 Pistoleer

I wish you could be Master of both 
One of my favorite PvE-only builds is Carbineer 0400, Bounty Hunter 0400, Ranger 0040. This has 36 points left over for Medic or whatever. +85 carbine speed for fast fast carbines. Insane carbine accuracy. Plus tracking which I used to hunt force sensitive NPCs and krayt dragons. In addition, you harvest mad quantities of resources which you can sell for mega bucks.
Damn...this has me wanting to switch back!

Mcarbineer +3400 BH is way better than MBH and anything.... I got a 770 max damage laser carbine and i hit people for about 500 damage AFTER armor at the speed cap while they are STANDING

For my own playstyle. I find that Master Carbineer with BH Carbine 3 suits me real well. Great accuracy and fieing at the speedcap. I get my weapons sliced for damage. It's a beautiful combo. You could spend the extra points on novice medic to use StimB's or go up LLC4. Granted this is a great PVE template. NOt a PVP template.

Well, you beat me to that one Pent, I was just about to flame the hell outta that lol
But really, explain to me how mitigation works? I'd love to know heh, I've been playin a long time and i still can't figure out
mitigation.
Even with my limited knowledge of mitigation, I still know that my 225-345 2.6 ap elite carbine (non p-uped) dishes out a hell of alot
more damage than that 100-700 laser 
Would appreciate the mitigation info again thx.

I am master carbineer/master carbinier (look at your tag above your head and look at the mastered proffession in your bio 1 is the french spelling and 1 is english ) bh carbines 4 and inv 3. It i sthe best because I can get jedi missions with inv 3. Also I was at the death watch bunker earlier and I was outdamaging groups with tkm's and commandos with a 700 max dmg carbine and I switched to a 600 max regular when I lost 50 condition in like 5 min and I was still getting loot rights. Also against the super battle droids I was getting looting rights using a regular dxr6 (letting tkm's take the hits and shooting from like 20m) It is great against pve and untill stun/armor gets nerfed we will not be great in pvp unless with a group. Full auto area2/chargeshot 2 into a group of rebels. I have though about dropping alot to get eye shot and a geo pistol cause I miss solo pvp. My 2 cents anyways.

A 700 max-damage carbine is not easy to come by on most servers.. but I agree.. BH carbineer simply rocks for PvE. It's a pity our states don't apply on end game MOBs like the Bunker folks, or just high-level NPCs in general, though.

How does one go about getting a 700 maxdamage laser carbine. Is it a legendary drop, was it made with Krayt tissue, I just don't understand.

I agree. Although I do seem to land Stun on alot of the highend mobs ( better than nothing. :/) Wish all my KD would actually knock down the high end mobs though.
