again, please post your PvP tactics. i am considering going over toCarbineer as the base for a template idea, and would like to see what sorts of things carbineers do in PvP. it seems that there are a lot of options--lots of effect based shots, knockdown, cripplingshot, scattershot2, suppressionfire2, etc...how do you use them, and how well do they work? please be detailed, if possible, and even put down strings or sequences...

secondary:


if i were to pursue Master Carbineer, what sort of weapons should i expect to see? are there any uber variants? equivalents to the scatter, FWG5, uber DX2s (i've seen them at 1.7, 105-250 unsliced), etc? curious as to what the top-of-the-line DXR6 and Elite would look like, or even an uber DH17.

Well it all depends on whether you are in a group or dueling. If you are dueling always start with our KD and follow with Crippling Shots and maybe Scatter at the end. But if your in a group and all our skills actually worked, you would get the thrill ofcharge shot 2 which kds a group and then auto shot 2 that shots a group in a cone and also gives them dizzy, then precede to pick off people with the cripple shot. Now until our skills are fixed stay away from area shots and just pick someone kd, then follow with crippling shots and maybe a wildshot to stun them.

I use a DH17 that's 98-233 damage and 2.6 speed so I can spam chargeshot and crippling shot alternatively for a damage increase, gets hits up to 700 on unarmored players while they're on the ground.

yes, /chargeshot is your friend. now, if only it lasted long enough for me to put my vk on and get to the kd'ed body for a nice unarmedhit3


/fullautoarea is a nice one too. a note on area attacks: if your targets are not currently engaged, you will die fast using area attack, as they will all auto-defend right on you. so, use it carefully

nice...thanks again, guys...


interesting to see the combat medic twist. i guess it makes sense to apply poison to kd'd target...not too bad. have never had anyone do that to me before, but it looks pretty nasty.

my tactics change a lot so i can't give you a strict string i use all the time. I usually chargeshot then crippleshot twice. If i'm fighting a BH or someone who keeps healing themselves i use both bleed shots and try to time my knockdown with the bleeds combined with a few legshots in order to incap em. If you time bleeds with their high action cost and a chargeshot followed by 2 legshots you can incap most people without them being able to heal. The bleeds do about 500 together, plus the chargeshot with the legshots do another 300-400.
